From SNP Media: As fans prepare for the Line of Duty finale tonight, lead actor Martin Compston aka Detective Inspector Steve Arnott, has thrown his support behind the SNP at the election on Thursday. Compston, also known for roles in The Nest, Mary Queen of Scots, The Wee Man, Monarch of the Glen and Ken Loach’s Sweet Sixteen, is among the actors, musicians, writers, and cultural figures taking part in the SNP online ‘get out the vote’ rally tonight at 7.00pm with Nicola Sturgeon and thousands of SNP supporters. Other figures taking part include Hollywood stars Alan Cumming and Brian Cox, leading crime … Continue reading Mother of God!!!

From SNP Media: The SNP today said that the final days of the election campaign showed that Labour and the Tories remain “as thick as thieves” after the leaders of both parties refused to acknowledge that the people of Scotland have a right to determine their future. After interviews on BBC Andrew Marr and Radio Clyde, in which Douglas Ross and Anas Sarwar both struggled to defend their anti-democratic position, SNP Depute Leader Keith Brown said: “As ever Labour and the Tories are thick as thieves when it comes to blocking the kind of progress for Scotland that people want … Continue reading Labour learns nothing from 2014

From SNP Media Mogwai star Stuart Braithwaite has encouraged people across Scotland to give both votes to the SNP to guarantee the strong, experienced leadership of Nicola Sturgeon and a re-elected SNP government to help Scotland through the pandemic and into the recovery from Covid. Speaking ahead of the SNP’s ‘cultural takeover’ on social media, the Mogwai star asked if “we want to be run by the people of Scotland, and the decisions to be made by the people of Scotland, or do we want to be run by Boris Johnson?” Stuart Braithwaite said: “This election is the most important in … Continue reading Post-rock band Mogwai back SNP

From SNP Media The SNP has warned that a vote for Labour is a vote for Boris Johnson and the Tories, after reports that Deputy Leader of Scottish Labour, Jackie Bailie, is “targeting traditional Conservative voters whose support helped her squeeze through in 2016.” With Labour offering no opposition to the Tories at Westminster and having failed to protect Scotland from Tory cuts, SNP Dumbarton candidate Toni Giugliano said it proved a a vote for Labour is a vote to leave the Tories and Boris Johnson in charge of Scotland’s future – as he challenged Labour to distance itself from … Continue reading Jackie Baillie “targeting traditional Conservative voters whose support helped her squeeze through in 2016.”

In his 7 minute interview with Douglas Ross today, Andrew Marr interrupted him only 3 times and grunted irritably 10 times. A week before in his 20 minute interview with Nicola Sturgeon, he interrupted her 23 times and grunted irritably 40 times. Given the monstrous failures of the Conservative Party to prevent the damage, from Brexit, to the fishing industry in the Scottish Conservative branch leader’s own constituency and the enormous hypocrisy of his comments on the First and Prime ministers, alleged breaches, Marr was only superficially firm with Ross yet had been loud and aggressive with Sturgeon forcing her … Continue reading 40 irritable grunts

According to reliable journalist, Michael Gray two days ago: Out of thousands of their civil servants the Scottish Government had 6 working on independence and when Covid hit they cut that number to 0. If anything more resource should be placed on getting the powers of independence to build a stronger and fairer recovery. Today the First Minister is accused of no having prepared a detailed plan for independence. Continue reading 6 out of more than 5 000 or 0.12% of Scottish Government civil servants were helping the SNP in ‘plotting referendum’

The data for the Scotsman’s claims remain hidden. They tend to keep them so for a month after they have misrepresented them. In the text there’s a wee hint that they are doing just that, where they admit that women rated the Scottish Government positively ‘across all policy areas.’ Opinium asked about this same topic, however, on 6th April and found that on the Scottish Government’s record to date, of 1023 Scots supporting all parties, 54% approved as opposed to 28% disapproving. For the UK Government it was almost exactly the reverse with 54% disapproving and only 27% approving. Unexpectedly, … Continue reading SNP’ record in government recognised widely

The MSM, in Scotland only, are pushing this dead horse up the road in the days before an election. It’s not at all clear just how many and how serious these litigants are. It’s also not clear why they blame the Scottish Government for the financial support the UK Government controls. One thing is clear. They have little public support. In November 2020, Ipsos MORI found the pub closures were the least difficult for us to deal with: They didn’t ask specifically about nightclubs but I feel sure, if they had, even less than 19%would have cared. Asked again, only … Continue reading Less than 1 in 5 support opening of nightclubs

Don’t bother with the Herald. Surrey Live managed a more professional report: 113 people in study of 52,000 died despite being vaccinated, data shows. There is good evidence from early real-world data in the UK that Covid-19 vaccines are working after the first dose, experts have said. However, in a document released on Friday by the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (Sage), which advises the Government, they have cautioned that coronavirus jabs may fail to prevent hospital admissions amongst a very small number of people, particularly those who are frail and elderly. The findings are based on data from more … Continue reading Herald promotes vaccine hesitancy as only 1 in 460 frail and elderly die

Why 5th of May? Oh, I don’t know. Do we have the day off on the 6th? Continue reading Cuddling Gran’ma: Next target date for relaxing Covid restrictions except in Moray should brought forward to 5th May
