England & Wales have roughly 11 times the population yet all forms of reported hate crime are higher in England & Wales. Most strikingly, race-based offences, in 2022, were three times more common and transgender cases five times more so. Launched by Abertay lecturer, Brexit candidate and Jordan Peterson wannabe, Stuart Waiton, The Scottish Union for Education, SUE, made me laugh. Waiton is openly opposed to the Scottish Government’s gender recognition reforms, has defended the rights of families to put their children through gay and transgender therapy. They latter has been condemned as torture by the UN.
