The Tusker founder suffers suspected ‘Acid Flashback’ after hearing ‘Formby backs Beckett for Unite General Secretary’

What Where? Will the window-cleaners be happy with this choice? What about the Chinese laundry workers? The little ukelele-makers? Will members generally feel they have been waiting for a Godot-awfully long time for the decision? If Beckett forgets his lamppost again, what will Formby lean on? Why am I blogging at this time? Reporting Scotland stalking chronic pain sufferers on behalf of Scottish Labour

Revealing herself to be a worthy successor to Lisa Summers and fully integrated into the Sarah Smith / Glen Campbell school of cringe, Fiona Stalker goes ambulance-chasing for chronic pain sufferers whose experience can be used against NHS Scotland and by association the SNP leaders. I wonder will she have bothered to search for any more reliable evidence of NHS Scotland’s performance or are one or two individuals prepared to cry on screen more her thing? Might this, from 2016, be informative for the viewers? England and Wales currently have fewer pain doctors than Scotland and Northern Ireland and that … Continue reading Reporting Scotland stalking chronic pain sufferers on behalf of Scottish Labour

Spitfire tribute to Scotland in Union’s propaganda unit

Pilots Billy Mitchell, CBE [82] and Billy Cumberland [90] fly over SIU CEO Pamela Nash’s house and the crowd (12) below sing ‘We’ll meet again‘ after a lunch of bangers and mash, empire biscuits and warm bitter. Several neighbours were warned by local bobbies to stop shooting at the planes with their BB guns. The Tusker condemns warm bitter. Large Welsh person living in Scotland helps pro-Indy parties exceed 50% in latest poll!

From YouGov on 9th July based on 139 Scots, support is: Con 22% Lab 19% LD 5% SNP 50% Plaid Cymru 1% Green 2% Other 2% That’s a wee bit down on the last 5 full polls, at 51% to 55%, but it is only a wee sample. Luckily 1.39% plan to vote for Plaid Cymru in the next Holyrood election raising important questions: Is that one generously proportioned Welshman/woman or, better, two quite small ones who can both vote? Would that vote be considered wasted or kindly transferred to the SNP pile in the interests of fair play? Was … Continue reading Large Welsh person living in Scotland helps pro-Indy parties exceed 50% in latest poll!

Two Scotland in Union secret writing group members appear together in Herald letters page

Two days before his appearance today fibbing frothily with Kaye Adams, Allan Sutherland was in the Herald with an astonishing, inaccurate and apparently deranged rant, of the kind you might expect in a pub but not even in a tabloid’s letters page. Read it [ above]. It’s frankly amazing. No self-respecting editor would publish such a thing. But, then, right alongside is a letter from another member of the group, David Bone, with what looks like co-ordinated comments on jacuzzigate. Surely the editors at BBC Scotland and the press have the list of members of this group. If they do … Continue reading Two Scotland in Union secret writing group members appear together in Herald letters page

Another Scotland in Union secret propaganda group member appears on Kaye Adams to claim death level same in Scotland as in England!

Members of Scotland in Union‘s 30-strong, undercover letter-writing group [Geheimnis Schreiben Gruppe or GSG] which ‘must not be advertised’ [above] are popping up regularly in the Scottish media, unchecked and unchallenged, to spread fake news. Recently we’ve had Phil Tate, Ian Murray’s election agent, posing as an honest citizen in the Herald and, again in the Herald yesterday, another member, listed as plain ‘Gill Stephenson of Edinburgh‘, the member and retired Professor and expert on Nazi Germany, misrepresenting the nationwide base for taxation revenue then returned to the devolved areas as furlough funds. Legal or not, this is anti-democratic. Now, today on Mornings with Kaye … Continue reading Another Scotland in Union secret propaganda group member appears on Kaye Adams to claim death level same in Scotland as in England!

‘There is a humanitarian crisis in Glasgow’

From Robina Qureshi Last Thursday, our staff and volunteers were working on the ground, organising food, PPE and mobile phones for the asylum seekers who were moved after the Park Inn Tragedy on June 26 to the Hallmark Hotel in Glasgow. This happened barely six weeks following the death of a suicidal Syrian refugee, Adnan Elbi, on May 5 in the Mclays Hotel. All were placed in hotels by the Mears Group, an outsourcing company working in Housing management & social care, employing 10,000 people. (In relation to the growing scandal in Glasgow, six Scottish MPs refused to meet with … Continue reading ‘There is a humanitarian crisis in Glasgow’
