New Survation poll of 3 000 UK adults between 16th to 23rd April, on trust in institutions, puts the Scottish Government well ahead of the other UK governments but, best of all, at 70%, way ahead of BBC News on 52% and Sky News on 44%.
Here’s the data:

Note, only the NHS in the midst of a pandemic beats the Scottish Government. Has covid-19 denied the SNP Government top spot?
And, had the poll been taken more recently, after another week of covid-19 briefings, with the Scottish media making right big bahookies of themselves, who knows how wide the gap with them might have been.
And, this is not a one-of. A 2017 poll had the Scottish Government much more trusted than the UK Government:
And this is a UK poll so the Scottish respondentsmight trust BBC Scotland even less?

Sorry John, I had meant to get back to you on this poll.
But, what an excellent and well deserved result.
Boris Broadcasting to Colonies—North Brit edition. Spluttering Dreyfus “journalism” at its worst.
Jackdaw Carlot will be red in the face with this one!
Dickie Leotard wont know what’s worse. A stab in the back from his “colleagues”, or being captain of the sinking ship that is S.S. Scottish Labour.

John,Regarding Mundell on borders I thought you might like to see his reply to me.
“Thank you for your email. Of course there are differences between Scotland and other parts of the UK because we have a devolved Parliament in Scotland, but we have no international border and nor does Wales have one.”
Needless to say he did not say where he paid his Taxes.

An interesting reply. I’m not sure he is correct. A country’s boundaries are defined by International law as legal jurisdiction. The ICJ confirmed Scots jurisdiction when they ruled against both the USA and the UK government that jurisdiction lay with Scots law exclusively in the trial of the Lockerbie bomber. At the Hague, the trial was conducted in an area temporarily made Scottish territory. The border has international recognition.

It’s a moot point. It’s always good to use the “Enemy”‘s material against it. So there’s one of the infamous UK Gov Scotland Indy Ref analysis papers: “Borders and citizenship” which discusses the future international border, but also helpfully mentions:
“The Civil Jurisdiction (Offshore Activities) Order 1987”
http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/1987/2197/made
which in its turn mentions ““the Scottish border”
which is enough for the likes of stupid Mundell – his own government admitted there was a border back in 1987. It also contradicts the UK gov anti-indy white paper where it says
“1.12 The physical border of the UK is essentially a maritime border with just one land border of 448 kilometres between Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. ”
and indeed two paragraphs laterwhere it says
“1.14 The land border between England and Scotland was legally established in 1237, by
the Treaty of York.”
That whole section is interesting by the way:

The good thing is that it’s what the enemy says, and in theory that can be used against them.

Good to see people realizing just how untrustworthy the English/British nationalist media is.

No, it’s just the Scottish subsample that was offered the Scottish Government as an option, as SGP points out in an update. Tables 66/67:

54% trust the UK gov.
I figured out it must be some kind of English colonial patriotism (the last refuge); even Starmer is banging on about it.
Then is saw this and a light bulb moment. It is some kind of weird English S&M thing.
‘Ooo lie to me’… ‘Ooooo, more, more’. ‘Oooo war is peace’. ‘Freedom is Slavery….Ohhhhhhhhh’ Arrived.’
Sorry if i made you feel ill.
Possibly a combination of both. Wrapped up in a Union Jack singing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3tigVYfHVmQ
