I hope I don’t offend with too-basic arithmetic here but I’m going to keep this simple.
England has ten times the population of Scotland and so, all things being equal, might be expected to have 5 610 admissions but has 6 395.
Wales has two thirds of the population and so, all things being equal, might be expected to have 360 admissions but has 390.
Northern Ireland has just over one third of the population and so, all things being equal, might be expected to have 190 admissions but has 326.
Add to this, Scotland has 50% more nurses, 20% more consultants, 26% more GPs and nearly 50% more beds
Worth knowing for the next time Lisa Summers finds a crisis in Monklands?

With regards Truth
Never ever and under any circumstance
Can Truth can be regarded as offensive
Why
Because truth is a matter of fact and a record of reality which no man can change particularly so as such has actually occurred
And reality is all that can possibly ever exist
Never The Devil of those who endeavour
To interpret such or any of the detail contained therein, and especialy so when
Their purpose is nefarious and plan to deceive
Unless you are Dr.Who
