At the very beginning of the pandemic, in March 2020, Boris Johnson cast doubt on NHS Scotland’s resilience.
As BBC Scotland and others rejoice now that Scotland too has called in the army:

we can reflect on that resilience. When did NHS England make the call?

Four weeks ago. Did they have higher infection levels to cope with?

Nope, on the 20th August, when they called them in, infection levels in England were far lower than in Scotland or Northern Ireland.
Resilience?
The fact they’re crowing about it just demonstrates it’s not our army, it’s their army that we are forced to pay for, but have no control over.
Makes a change to be getting something out of the British Army other than guilt by association.

Does Scotland not have an ARMY ANYMORE
THEY HAVE CHANGED MANY NAMES OF
OLD REGIMENTS TO OBLITERATE THEM FROM SCOTTISH HISTORY
MAKIN THE BRITISH NAME MORE PROMINENT
SO THEY HAVE BEEN WORKING TOWARDS WIPING OUT ALL THINGS SCOTTISH FOR YEARS
AND YET WE ARE PILLARED FOR MENTIONING INDEPENDENCE
WHILST ENGLISH POLITICIANS
HAVE PLOTTED SECRETLY AGAINST SCOTLANDS HISTORY

Nick Ferrari ( LBC – that’s Leading Britain’s Conversation and NOT Loud Boring Cnut ! ) this morning had a go at ”Sturgeon” for calling in the army to help with the Ambulance situation .
”She want’s to run a country but can’t even run an Ambulance service !” decried the epitome of Brexit Britain .
Failing to understand ( on so many levels ) that
a) ”She ” IS running a country and
b) The English Health Boards called in the army WEEKS ago without snide comments about Boris Johnson wanting to run a country .
( Carrie wouldn’t let him ! )
