BBC Scotland Correspondent for Bad News Only about Health, Lisa Summers, has been unavailable to tell us about the steady fall in nosocomial infections. Sources tell us she ‘can’t be arsed.’
In the week ending 7th March, only 18 people caught Covid-19 in hospital, down from 83 in the week ending 20th January 2021.
An NHS England spokesperson said it was more than her job was worth to tell us what the figures are there.

Scary re England then, brrrr especially with the lifting of lockdown and pubs, gyms, swimming pools etc due to open soon…Scotland please enforce quarentine and close your border pronto unless people have vaccine passport and also quarentine as a precaution. The devil may care throw caution to the wind tactics of the English Government, is too dangerous to accept as another consequence of the so called union.

My wife has to go for a scan in hospital.Before she attends she has an appointment for a covid test at an nhs only drive through site and until the appointment she must isolate.She receives her result the day after the test and if positive then appointment would be cancelled.Basically we make sure people do not attend hospitals if they are infected.
I wonder if the system the same down south.

We have a neighbour who had delayed elective surgery and has now decided to go for the operation. She and her family had to isolate for 10 days, prior to her admission after a test.
