Mark Eadie’s thesis here is that we think there’s a conspiracy, a plot, behind Sarah Smith’s serial ‘mistakes.’ Few believe such a thing. Few imagine her in a circle with Glen Campbell and the new Director plotting what she will say next to distort the truth.
It’s long past that. Smith has been in a Unionist, New Labour bubble forever. She thinks that way. She can’t think any other way. No one needs to tell her what to do. She keeps doing it habitually. The ‘mistakes’ are always one-way, pro-Union. She makes them then, if caught, apologises. After a safe interval she makes another.
Eadie suggests she has now been bullied. Anti-bullying legislation has done a lot of good in many institutions but more than one bully has turned it into a bully’s charter when victims fight back.
The trail is longer than Eadie want to admit. See these:
In November 2020, she told BBC 1:

Also in November 2020 she platformed one barber to tell us that the Scottish Government’s pandemic strategy was ‘Rubbish!’ and undermine compliance:

In June 2020, she clearly enjoyed this one:
In February 2020, she lied:

In July 2019, on drug treatment and the blanket refusal to allow safe injection spaces, she told us that, ‘of course it’s VERY convenient for the Scottish Government to argue that they’re being hampered by Westminster.’

In January 2018 she knew fine what she was doing:
There’s more but, I’m tired.

She is just upholding daddy,s point of view and will do see as the ship goes down

She should never have got the job with her family background.
But she did, because the BBC is blind to bias in Scotland.
When she started making “mistakes” she should have been moved to another editorial post ( of which the BBC has many), but the BEEB doesn’t admit to blunders in Scotland–perhaps it wasn’t then a blunder.
Now we come to the eve of an important election, and the BBC is compromised by the lack of professionalism and neutrality of its Scotland-focussed staff.
Wonder if they will wheel Jackie Bird out, just to REALLY rub our noses in their blatant slanted output.

Drip, drip, drip…..
In a kind of old-fashioned way I call it propaganda.
She likes to do it and her bosses don’t mind so she stays in the job.

A scorpion wants to cross a river but cannot swim, so it asks a frog to carry it across. The frog hesitates, afraid that the scorpion might sting, but the scorpion argues that if it did that, they would both drown. … Midway across the river, the scorpion stings the frog anyway, dooming them both.
The Moral – the frog should have been aware of the scorpion’s nature

Worth mentioning too how she said NS was “enjoying” the pandemic as an opportunity to contradict Westminster. The bias is so ingrained it justs seeps out…

Cumulative social learning shapes the individual’s habitus, which seeks to shape reality through the ego. So Sarah Smith’s serial ‘mistakes should be viewed as a product of her personal psychology, which will have been shaped by her family background and education. So her world-view is constrained by her immersion in the bubble of historically left-leaning ethno-nationalism, that characterises the politics of British Labour. Though of course, British Labour is now only marginally differentiated from English Torydum.

We’ve seen them all pull the same stunts and propaganda time after time yet from Eadie’s perspective, it’s mere coincidence… 🤣 Och, ma sides…

A mistake is a error of judgement
That upon discovery of such is unreservedly
Apologised for
But more importantly never ever to be repeated
If it is then the perpetrator is either
1.Stupid
2.Acting on behalf of others
3.A serial offender
As for S.Smith take your pick as to what number above applies or any combination thereof
No other explanations are possible to exist
To suggest so will be classified as a human failing, all in all due to a Temporary lack of certain Knowledge

‘Mistakes’, my sides are hurting at that one!!!
The most unprofessional, biased, openly contemptuous, way overpaid from the TV tax to make ‘mistakes’? Oh aye and Scotland is really just a basket case duh, with zips up the back of the heads of people, treating people like idiots, she is a disgrace to democracy but also to journalism. There are actual honest journalists who are persecuted around the globe, some are murdered for telling the truth, that’s what’s so sickening when she and her ilk tell such dreadful lies. She could be an honest, fair and balanced reporter and not suffer persecution, but her gripes and nigh on hatred towards the FM of Scotland are also personal. That’s not a good look for a supposed world reknowned BBC is it.

If only Sarah Smith and the rest of the BritNat Establishmen, were able to find a respect international law. That way Scots might be able to enjoy the benefits of democracy, such as our inalienable rights to self-determination and development.
