Starting on 14th December, care home residents and staff in Scotland were the first to receive the Covid vaccine. By today, 90% of care home residents had received their first dose of vaccine. A number of health boards have now given the first dose of vaccine to 100% of their care home residents.
The Scottish Government followed the JCVI advice on this and the vaccinator teams achieved this despite logistical problems with the Pfizer vaccine.
The Health Secretary for England has claimed 50% of care home residents there have been vaccinated though the Guardian today reports that the figure is 40% at best.
The excellent MSM_Monitor has beaten me to the punch on the necessary calculations so, lazily, here are his/her data:
Inserting my own arithmetic oar here and noting that the population of England is 10 times greater, it looks like the death rate in care homes was about the same in the first three weeks but by early January the rate in England had doubled and is now approaching three times the rate in Scotland.
Tragically, worse may be to follow.
Westminster’s version of Aktion T4.
Assuming the reason is saving money on pensions and winning the ‘Home Nations Vaccination Pissing Contest’.

WILL YOU BE INFORMING ALL MSM
THEY NEED TO KNOW “THE FACTS”
THIS WILL ENSURE THEY WILL ALL BE HELD RESPONSIBLE
AS WELL AS TORIES
WHEN THE INVESTIGATION STARTS

OT – My attention was drawn to the screengrab, and in particular to the UK/Scotland sub heading, do these still hold true ?
On my “damned furrner” view currently it reads Scotland, Scotland Politics, Scotland Business, Edinburgh Fife & East, Glasgow & West, Highlands & Islands, NE Orkney & Shetland, South, Tayside & Central.. There is no Alba or Local News, which makes me wonder if the same blinding persists beyond Scotland’s immediate non existent borders..
Nevertheless, the MSM analysis appears to confirm our worst fears that between #10 and HMS Sarah Smith, a few old dears popping their clogs is a price worth someone else paying to make a good story…
