The Daily Record, above, desperately tying to drag Scotland down into the hole the rest of the UK is already in.
How many far-right extremists are there in Scotland and how does that compare with England & Wales?
Membership details are not available but referrals to Prevent are the best proxy. Prevent is the UK government’s early-intervention programme designed to stop people from becoming terrorists or supporting terrorism. It identifies individuals who may be vulnerable to radicalisation.1
In England and Wales, from Home Office data, year to March 2025), 1,798 out of 8,778 referrals to Prevent were for “Extreme Right-Wing” (ERW) concerns.2
All things being equal if the above mentality is as common in Scotland, you’d expect there to be around 180. There were 62 (38% of 162 referrals).3
So, extreme Right-Wing elements are almost three times more common in England & Wales than in Scotland.

Inequality is a well known incubator of fascism. I wonder if inequality is more prevalent in England. Successive Westminster governments have created vast differences in wealth over 40 neoliberal years. But the Scottish Government has done its best to mitigate the effects since 2007. Cultural difference also play a part.

Yes though these guys will be paid ops, not living in poverty at all, but appealing to the poor and disabled etc folks they would chuck on the scrapheap on day one if their fave LTD company party was ever to get near power at WM in London.
These people are likely paid thugs, there to stir up hatred, divide communities and do the dirty work of their fascists masters…
As someone else asked, I wonder who paid for their uniforms…and masks.

Migrants tend to migrate to London S/E. They have relatives there. A cosmopolitan city. Refugees are not allowed to work. If they were allowed to work. There would be less problems. They would add progress to the society. They always do.
The West bombed the Middle East to death. Many people had to flee. So they can West. Countries like Germany have 12million migrants. They had a progressive society. Until Ukraine situation. Lost cheap Russian gas.
Scotland had a migration problem. People had to leave because of Westminster policy. The illegal union settlement. 1707. The Javobite rebellion 1715 & 1745. The Highland Clearances. The higher unemployment in Scotland because of Westminster policy. The £10 emigration passage. Two world wars. One started by the Royals. Ist international rivalry. The ‘Divine right to rule’. Destroyed monarchies. Germany and Russia. Russia invaded Germany. 2nd Germany invaded Russia. Russia defeated Germany. Russian winter. German troops get stuck and had to surrender.
The Scottish pop has increased since Devolution 2000. From 5million. To 5.5. First increase for over a century. Scotland needs people for growth. One of the less densely populated countries in the world.
