‘Scottish food and drink exports six-times England per head?’ Really, why don’t we all know that?

Only 4 days ago, the Herald’s token capable journo had the above. On the 30th May 2025, he had this below.

Both came and went in a matter of hours and today, there is no trace of this narrative in the Herald:

What about the rest of the media operating in Scotland?

Just the Herald.

Ask ‘BBC Scotland food exports?’

Mustn’t be in the public interest or I feel sure they’d tell us. 😉

  1. I think Scotch Whisky exports account for a big chunk of our exports.

    Langoustine exports to the continent fell after BREXIT – sitting in a Kent lorry park was not good for fish. Mackerel exports to Russia fell after sanctions.
