General Medical Council confirms Scottish doctors doing not slightly but significantly better

Slightly? Only if you understand percentages of large populations about as well as 11 year-olds before you teach them and, remarkably, if you have not read your own results below.

From, I have to say, properly done research by the General Medical Council today, evidence of significantly better conditions for doctors in Scotland.

That 25% gap between the satisfied and dissatisfied in Scotland is massive because it’s 25% of more than 20 000 doctors (see below from the BMA) or around 5 000 doctors:

As of December 2023, there were 16,733 doctors working in secondary care in Scotland, which is equivalent to 15,001 full-time doctors and as of 2023, there were 4,474 general practitioners (GPs) in Scotland, excluding specialist trainees. 

Again note the statistically significant difference between the conditions of GPs in Scotland.

However, Scotland has more GPs per capita than the rest of the UK, with 76 GPs per 100,000 people compared to the UK average of 60.

      MSM via SKY News, ITV & the BBC news are all blaming rioting on misinformation sourced from social media while neglecting to mention the many front page headlines we saw from newspapers like the Daily Mail & Daily Express that demonised immigrants on their front pages for months.

      GB News & Talk TV presenters & their guests also constantly target immigrants as did the BBC, ITV & SKY News also feature those they referred to as ‘illegal immigrants on boats’ and also what they said in respect to immigration into the UK increasing.

      We also had the culture wars and the so called ‘wokery’ being exploited as the political scapegoat for all ills happening within their UK from some within the Tory party and too via some within the MSM.

      The fact that the BBC , ITV & SKY News invite many of the presenters & their guests from GB News & Talk TV onto their Breakfast programmes, debate programmes and political discussion programmes perhaps is a reason why they, GB News & Talk TV, are currently via the BBC, ITV & SKY News being excluded as being noted as additional sources of misinformation and also those responsible for inciting much of the anger we have recently seen via many of those rioting against immigrants.

      I guess MSM love to blame social media when they see people are less reliant on sourcing their news from MSM mainly because more people see that some within MSM are compromised by their partisan allegiance to specific political parties thus they themselves as MSM News sources promote misinformation to advantage those political parties they support while simultanously disadvantaging their political opponents.

      Perhaps as social media is being demonised by many within the MSM we should not forget that pre the GE the Labour party were excessively using social media as part of their campaign to relay their political message via YouTube with a constant interruption of ads from the supposed ‘Scottish’ Labour party on various videos on YouTube. This practice of using social media as a campaign tool did not allow a response via the SNP, who Labour attacked in these ads, so who was monitoring and checking the validity in the output of information via these political ads from the Labour party ?

      We also saw pre the 2016 EU Referendum how social media played a part in promoting Brexit in influencing the gullible into believing blatant lies about the EU and too what they stated was supposedly going to change and improve if the UK voted to leave the EU. So the politicians have also abused social media to misinform and incite negativity and anger among some within their UK.

      Plus the BBC’s presence on social media also regularly contributes to their own misinformation and spin via their ‘Scottish’ pages on their news website .

      So before the MSM target social media they perhaps forget that many of us are more than aware of their many contributions to fake news and so maybe they should get their own houses in order before they blame others for causing problems and inciting anger among some.

  2. Unfortunate that interesting article on medical situation was hijacked by a story, that though of some importance, had absolutely nothing to do with the feature article. It should have been a completely separate post.
