Only 321 out of more than 5 800 junior doctors have looked at leaving NHS Scotland

From the Scotsman for your early morning scare:

A snap survey of British Medical Association (BMA) Scotland junior doctors revealed nearly half (44 per cent) have actively researched leaving the NHS in the past 12 months due to pay and conditions in Scotland. Only 15 per cent of the 730 respondents said they were sure they would stay in the UK and work in the NHS long term.

There are more than 5 800 junior doctors in Scotland.

The BMA Scotland press release admits a response of 730 but does not tells what percentage that is. It’s only 12%, 1 in 8.

This was not a proper scientifically valid sample but, rather, only those who felt strongly enough about the situation to complete a quick online survey.

So, for example, the 44% who have actively researched leaving the NHS, is only 321 out of more than 5 800 junior doctors.

What does this tell us about the 88% who did not complete the survey?

  2. You take 1% out of 8% and multiply the two and three of the resultant, then add or divide 32 degrees to the west of P + ish and maybe you get:—-100 years of BBC Hootsmon broadcasting an SoS.
The print version is the folded child’s boat (made from the yellow pages) floating down the gutter.
P + ish spells DRossies middle name, which is strange as that is also his first language.
