Former Labour minister now born-again astrologer predicts Scotland will meet a tall handsome but unctuous man?
Even the Telegraph has come to terms with the fact that the Scottish Cons are mince and it’s time for them to switch racehorses for the conveniently familiar No Longer Red Rum, ridden by Anas Prince Sarwar.
Never let the facts get in the way of a good story eh, as too many of our current crop of journalists seem to believe.
Are there facts, rather than Uncle Tom’s reading of the stars? Well, yes. First on independence being off the table:
Off the table? Looks a bit centre-stage to me. Note the Survation and Savanta outliers. More on them below.
And on the stars aligning for Scottish Labour:

There does seem to be a slight narrowing of the SNP lead but only if you trust Savanta and Survation who consistently find less support for the SNP.
Over a longer period, YouGov and Ipsos MORI regularly find bigger SNP leads and, for that matter more Yes leads. Savanta have had only 1 Yes lead out of around 20 polls in the last year.
At the UK level, the news is equally disappointing for Scottish Labour as they consistently fail to get above half of the UK Labour figure of between 45 and 50%.
Back to Tom Harris:
In 2012:
A Scottish Labour MP has been forced to resign as his party’s social media tsar after posting a spoof video online which compared Alex Salmond to Adolf Hitler.
https://www.theguardian.com/uk/2012/jan/16/labour-mp-tom-harris-resign
So, a popular democratic politician is like Hitler and the stars are aligning for Labour?
Nothing unusual for a Torygraph reader, I suppose.

As a Red Tory, Harris is right up there.
Wasn’t it under his watch that 90% of shipbuilding jobs on the Clyde were lost?
Did he also not claim he would never vote Labour again?
I suspect he sits in the Torygraf canteen with Alan Cochrane, the Loopy-Dupe of Brit Nat Anglo-superiority syndrome.
Gawd bless, and doff your cap as Prince Andy the Innocent rides by!

Glenn:–“Anas, no questions about your private education, now also for your children, and no questions about private health provision”.
Glenn:–Blush, fart! —“Mr Jack, your excellency, why are you so wonderful”!
No further questions about anything………………………………
“Oh, but. Can I kiss your ring”?
