Well done! Customary British/English nationalism on display.
I had also considered complaining about the title “Killer Roads”. The roads are inanimate and incapable of killing anybody. It is the behaviour of some drivers which lead to accidents. Roads can be improved by maintenance and better design in places, but, it is drivers who are managing the vehicles.
John, out of curiosity, did they name specific roads in England with high accident and fatality numbers, and the A82 was the token Scot ?
It struck me after reading your complaint that the traffic flow on the A82 compared to many major roads in England is miniscule.
