The message for us Scots is surely to spread the TuS site far and wide.
The Prof is doing sterling work, but the problem (as always) is mass communication – the despicable BBC have it – we have to spread OUR word.

Aye one of Eric Burdon’s better known classics, 2 years before Winnie Ewing’s “stop the world, Scotland wants to get on” shook the UK’s political world, but never made it to the top 20.
I’m firmly of the belief it doesn’t matter any more what Johnson or Starmer think, gone are the days of Ted Heath or Harold Wilson and principles of Burdon’s era, all that’s left is cardboard cutouts, photo-ops, a managed (to be be useless) COP26, and advertising campaigns much as a moisturiser.
Scots will finally abandon this circus act out of sheer frustration, then they are England’s problem. And pity help them.
