Nearly 30% weekly fall in Covid-19 new cases

SNP accused of playing games with Covid infection rates to make England look bad

From Public Health Scotland today for week-ending 4 October 2021:

As at 03 October 2021, there have been 575,231 confirmed COVID-19 cases; 15,050 of these were recorded in the most recent week, a decrease of 29.4% from the previous week.

The proportion of all people who were admitted to hospital within 14 days of a laboratory confirmed COVID-19 positive test has declined, from 12% in the week ending 31 January 2021, to 3% in the most recent week ending 19 September 2021.

The number of new admissions to Intensive Care Units (ICUs) for confirmed COVID-19 patients has reduced from 50 in the week ending 25 September 2021, to 37 in the week ending 02 October 2021.
