Fewest new infections for more than a month

There were 2 917 new cases of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours, the lowest level for any day, including Sundays, since the 18th August.

The 7 day average has now been falling for two weeks. The Herald is not excited and BBC Scotland is saying nothing as they’re too busy making up scare stories about hospitals.
