Scotland copes with surge due to previous efforts and better vaccine rollout

Cases in Scotland are rising fast at the moment. It is concerning but less so than in England Northern Ireland where the base level has been so much higher to start with.

Scotland’s better vaccine rollout, and more successful control measures over the pandemic have combined to keep levels far below those in England and Northern Ireland and, latterly, below those in Wales.

  1. Re.vaccinations Scotland per capita is well ahead of Rump UK
And if Rump Uk were to catch up tomorrow then they would need to vaccinate 4.84 million people
Chronologically and currently at present daily rate of vaccinating they are 26 days behind
Last week they were only 19 days behind
    The gap grows daily
    Explanation
Scotland has been far better organised and prepared for vaccinating the young
