
There were 28 648 new cases today in England. There were 2 538 in Scotland.
England has ten times the population so all things being equal should have had 25 380 cases but had 326 or 12.8% more.

There is little media coverage of the surge and none of the large English one.

40% rise in cases in Scotland a lot more than in England 25%. in reported cases dince previous day. Restrictions in Scotland eased on 9th August. England already had fewer restrictions so that may account for lower % rise. With fewer restrictions we’ll soon be enjoying their high rates.
