Ever ready to find something, anything that we, their readers, have suffered, the Herald finds that Wales has vaccinated 50.4% of its population overall while Scotland has only managed 48.8%, and headlines that Reporting Scotland favourite notion of Scotland being behind.
OMG. How awful is that?
Not.
Wales has had a very good reason to push on hard with vaccinations. Their death rate since their Labour administration took them foolishly out of lockdown too quickly in November, soared above that experienced in Scotland.

Over the whole pandemic, Wales has lost 175.4 per 100 000 while Scotland has lost 139.7, 20% fewer deaths. By that measure, around 1 500 lives saved.
How far behind is Scotland?

Westminsters reporting on scotland BBC are frightened that they are about to lose the money they pilfer from Scotland so they report to scotland that everything in the world is better than scotland and everywhere in the world is better than scotland

Looking at Travelling Tabby today, England’s infections are still not to be ignored, they are still quite high especially in the north! Their regions closer to Scotland are not looking great, let’s hope people do not decide to travel into Scotland with proper quarantine and vaccine being a requirement…otherwise, we will see another spike in Scotland for sure.
