Reporting Scotland were certainly not inclined to any comparative news that you might think meant Sturgeon was any use, and kept it minimal with this:
Ooooh! Sounds a lot doesn’t it?
None were going to show you this:
What, the infection rate in the last 24 hours was TWICE as high in Northern Ireland, nearly THREE times as high in England and Wales.
Nah, not newsworthy?

Oh no, terrible news for the BBC. Smith’s face would crack if she smiled about anything Scotland related. How sad, to work against your own country, in an attempt to keep the cringe going, can’t b good for the soul.

AS THEY ARE CERTAINLY NOT ABIDING BY THE BROADCASTING CHARTER
THAT THEIR LONDON HEAD OFFICE SIGNED INTO LAW

Having now read the website article John, the article is much more insidious, a mishmash of ONS information and assertions over the “new strain”, suspiciously like an article for England tweaked to incorporate Scottish references but minimal actual information.
Your general observation remains correct – BBC Scotland continue to carefully tailor news for Scots to avoid any positive inference to SG, SNHS, or recognition of the success of countless others who have worked tirelessly to keep Scots safe from Covid – Scotland’s permanent Grinch.

Of course ABC won’t report good news on Scotland however ONS modelling is not real data – their last estimate had Scotland nearly equal to England when case data showed Scotland much lower.
Cases and Positivity are at best flat lining in Scotland at present – not going down. Don’t trust ONS.
