Jeane Freeman accused of making Scotland’s coronavirus testing too good, on purpose

Lord George Foulkes has come out of isolation again to accuse the SNP of deliberately making NHS Scotland the best in the UK, ‘on purpose’ and just to encourage people to vote for them. From the Herald today:

Concerns have been raised by councillor Lucy Hovvels of the County Durham Health and Well-being Board, who has written to the Health Secretary. She told Chronicle Live: “We have had complaints that local sites aren’t listed, when people from Durham and Darlington attempted to book an appointment, they have been given slots in Penrith, Harrogate, Edinburgh and Perth.

This Herald report comes only days after they announced:

Coronavirus: Scotland falls short of daily testing target by 53% – as UK more than meets it

My head hurts.

  1. If this is true Lord Foukes has just demonstrated how idiotic he is. For people like him they don’t want Scotland to succeed at anything but to always be the underdog.

  2. “North Durham MP Kevan Jones has also written to Mr Hancock demanding action….

…”A robust testing system is urgently needed, and will become even more important if the projected changes to the current lockdown are implemented.

“The system is fundamentally flawed, and I expect that you will take urgent action to remedy the situation, so that my constituents can access the testing which is needed.””

    Crap testing system! Whatever next?
