Coronavirus: Tory austerity and NHS privatisation are deadly

These appalling figures were, of course, only for the UK altogether, where the people of England can be shielded form the awful truth of 819 deaths in one day alone. BBC England’s page makes no mention of the carnage that Tory austerity has inflicted upon them. Way down the page we read:

In Scotland 47 more deaths were reported on Saturday, while 36 were reported in Wales and 15 in Northern Ireland.

The brutal arithmetic is:

  • England: 1 CV death just today for every 66 000 people.
  • Scotland: 1 CV death today for every 115 000 people, just over half the death rate of England
  • Wales: 1 CV death today for every 86 000 people.
  • Northern Ireland: 1 CV death today for every 126 000 people.

Yet, in the opinion polls Johnson is considered to be doing a good job. I feel sure, so sure, that Corbyn would have reacted quicker to the threat.

  1. Yes i well know what is going on here
But what is best way of blowing the lid off this
I have attempted to contact The Guardian
But going round and round in circles
Can The National do a full article on this
And a big splash on the front page
    This is disgusting beyond belief
They take every opportunity to lambast China but now have to give up on that
They are being far too gentle on Trump re.all this
What they do not realise that as this virus continues and mutates that this Problem will NOT SLIP over the horizon
But it wont so they are in dire danger of being fully exposed for what they are and how they operate
All the relevant data for every Nation is on worldmeters.com
You can fool some of the people some of the time
But your cannot fool all of all the time
This has way beyond the point of Scottish
Independence because if such practice continues then the whole of the UK is going to suffer in a serious manner both from the virus and economically
Because they will bring a end to a lock down purely on economic matters and be in no position to mitigate the 2nd wave
The only way out is by being transparent
    Test,Test and Test
Reduce new cases to very low nos.
Then use Tech from China to identify new cases, track, idenitfy, trace contacts then isolate This is the only way out as due to Mutation vaccine not possible, only medicine that diminishes symptoms are the way forward
The more people who become infected the more the virus mutates
Nations that fail to act openly and responsibly are in dire straights and could even become Pariah states in the eyes of other Nations who are really paving a way out in a proper logical scientific manner
That those who do will have no option whatsoever to act against Nations who do not and give consideration in main to their wealth
I strongly recco. that all who read this visit worldmeters .com
    Take a close look at
    China
    Norway
    Ireland
    Germany
    Taiwan
    Germany
    Denmark
Pay close attention for each above to the Nrs.for cases, deaths & tests /million of population Then compare to UK
Please do daily and a very obvious distinct pattern soon emerges that fully backs up
Most of what i speak of here
You can create your own Figs.for Scotland
By creating your own single table modelled on the worldmeters.com tables
But such is not that simple because UK.GOV & NHS England mislead you
And you have to extrapolate The clear consistent Scottish data from their mess
E.G. Scotland deaths inc.death certs.& care homes now
    Whereas England inc.only hospital stats
Such seriously unbalance the picture created but importantly when you calc.the key figs.for Scotland which clearly demonstrate Scotland doing very much better and if somehow England’s data was on the same model as Scotland then our performance would show up even more
    Dramatically

    1. Whilst I agree with much of this, there is just one point that needs clarified.

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) has just started providing data on deaths involving COFID -19 for England and Wales that specifies ‘location of occurrence’ of the death including in ‘care homes’. My understanding is that these data, based on death certificate analysis, are not yet available for Scotland.

The E&W data have a time lag in reporting and therefore the full impact on care homes is not apparent in the latest release.

See my BTL post on this and the ONS source at: https://talkingupscotlandtwo.com/2020/04/11/care-home-deaths-bbc-scotland-reveals-its-agenda-again/

  2. Remember, the English deaths are much higher than published as it still does not include those who die outside hospitals and whose death certificate only certified coronovirus as cause of death.

The nurses and medical deaths noted also do not include care assistants inside and outside care homes
