After a day of intermittent glitches, the Herald, champion of complete fibs about Scotland, seems down and out.

The paper version may still be on the streets, after being tossed away angrily by another of its shrinking readers.
This was inevitable. All that deceit, all that cynicism, all that fiction, could only rot the soul.
Maybe something good will come of this. If the Herald survives at all, it will need to clean up its act before any of us let it back in our living rooms.

Alas, poor Herod, I knew him well–back when he would never lie!
Mark Smith, Pinstripe and Neil McKay, Britnat; loony; false-faced guy,

the amount of shite poured over our heads daily, by the Britnat media, must be causing the mental health of the country to suffer.

On Good Morning Scotland this morning the health journalist, Pennie Taylor was interviewed and was pretty scathing about the UK Government’s response. There had been some reporting about how local groups have been taking community action to support each other and, with pretty severe irony, Ms Taylor observed, “perhaps, the UK Government planned for people to act in this way!” The interviewer, ex-Trotskyite and union jack waver, Mr Gordon Brewer, replied, “That might be the case.” Earlier in the programme we had heard Vice President Mr Mike Pence, argue that President Trump’s sudden change in attitude, indicated how much the POTUS was in charge of events!
Full disclosure: Ms Taylor has lived in the same district as I do for several years, and, although not acquaintances of friends, we do exchange, smiles, cordial greetings and brief chats in a neighbourly way. This is one of the reasons I thought she was being ironic about the Great Leader Johnson’s ability to occasion people to act.
