Violent Wolverhampton drugs gang arrests in Edinburgh not in public interest here apparently

From PA Scotland yesterday (the above is a Wolverhampton-based gang; perhaps the same one but there are several):

Six men have been arrested as part of a day of action targeting “county lines” drug supplies into Edinburgh.

Detectives said the men, aged 38, 30, 29, 24, 22 and 21, were arrested in Edinburgh and Wolverhampton on Wednesday and charged in connection with various drug offences.

Police said small quantities of crack cocaine, heroin and cannabis, along with a four-figure sum of cash, were recovered during the operation.

Note Police Scotland Edinburgh posted this yesterday at 4.44pm in time for media deadlines – Nothing.

I tried ‘Scotsman drug gang arrests’ reports in last 24 hours – ‘It looks like there aren’t many great matches for your search.’

I tried ‘BBC Scotland drug gang arrests’ reports in last 24 hours and got only two BBC England reports.

Remember these gangs adopt shockingly violent tactics against the vulnerable, are involved in people trafficking and in sexual violence against minors.

Scotland’s MSM has a clear aversion to reporting English gangs terrorising Scotland – wonder why?

Bitter Together? Battered Together? Your turn.

  1. “Scotland’s MSM has a clear aversion to reporting English gangs terrorising Scotland – wonder why”?

Because it spoils their constant targeting of the Scottish government, via them, the MSM, reporting that it is the Scottish Govt who are apparently totally responsible for Drug deaths in Scotland which is always communicated by the MSM as “Scotland Drug deaths highest in Europe”….where they also have an “aversion” in reporting that (however other) countries in Europe (independent ones) are not, like Scotland, linked to a UK politically corrupt system via WM…..facts matter but not if those facts then explain much of what is happening in Scotland is very much because it is still a part of the UK………….

  2. STV , last week , had a 10% increase in Drugs deaths ( as reported by Police Scotland) as their lead story – interviews with the usual suspects castigating the Scottish Government for this rise ( NOT the drug users ! ), yet failed to link the increase to the ”County Lines ” gangs which were invading Scotland from the south .

And yet the link could easily have been made as a joint Scottish /English operation was reported in the same week identifying the cross-border nature of these gangs and reporting the arrests and seizure of significant drug dealers and drugs money from both sides of the border .

Poor journalism or Better Together in action ?

    1. The latter.

I’d not been paying attention today as busy, until it dawned the WASPI women’s verdict widely reported in England had been totally sidelined by Scotland’s media reporting on Kate Middleton – Shame on us for letting the bastards get away with it…
