You write in the context of your article of ambulance waiting time that “BBC Scotland has since managed to get them removed.”

Well I’ll tell you something else about the BBC in respect to Scotland, namely about Scottish politics, that as news today, is not on their website, BBC Scotland or BBC Scotland Politics, as of 3pm today.

And that is that today they have managed so far to completely ignore a #BAD story (that broke over the weekend) that is currently being reported in the media that is linked to the Scottish Lib Dems.

This is strange, as only last week they, the BBC on their Scottish pages, had a article on their website that stated “Lib Dems the most influential party at Holyrood, Cole-Hamilton says”.

So what is the latest (#bad) news in relation to the Scottish Lib Dems?

Well it is in respect to one of their MP’s elected in Scotland, Christine Jardine.

It seems that she is currently stating that she has been told by some within the party , that she is “too old for re-election”.

She said that “her age was seen by party colleagues as a factor in why she should not seek re-election” .

She then said ” I decided that I’ve had enough” and also said “It’s not how I wanted it to end and I didn’t want to step down but I’d had enough of what I felt was going on in the party”.

This is interesting, as who are these party colleagues , who have told her that she was “too old for re-election” ?

Also what does she mean when she said “I’d had enough of what I felt was going on in the party” ?

So what has been “going on in the party” ?

Is the BBC not curious to explore this as current news , as in it being a very topical piece of Scottish political news happening in relation to Scottish politics ?

Or am I being naïve in forgetting the BBC’s rule, that rule being that any #BAD news relating to politics in Scotland, is then mostly only confined to and so then only reported as being typical #BAD news linked mainly to the SNP.

Former CEO of the Scottish Lib Dems, Emma Walker of the #AskAlex campaign , said on social media that:

“This is not- IN ANY WAY- to do with age”.

So I guess then that we will all have to imagine if this were a female SNP MP of the same age as Ms Jardine that this happened to, then would the BBC also decide to just ignore it as a story on their website?

Now that, needs very little thought as to what the answer would be.

Remember it is the Scottish local elections next year and the Lib Dems will be fighting for seats against the SNP , so as the BBC is currently in election campaign mode , then part of their strategy is to only highlight #SNPBAD stories while either downplaying (in making excuses for) or ignoring any #BAD stories linked to other parties, including the Lib Dems in Scotland.

Will this story grow arms and legs in the media or will it be cut off (in it’s prime) after being reported as it stands, just now , as a story ?

Will Ms Jardine expand further on this story or will she now cease and desist for the (non) greater good of the party ?

(As in the same party that is allegedly dumping her because of her age and sex , or is it really her alleged ongoing poor relationship that she has had with ACH the branch office manager in Scotland ).

The Scotsman was alleged to have revealed at the weekend that “she had failed to secure reselection by her local executive committee. Allies and insiders confirmed she was pushed aside in favour of an ally of Scottish Lib Dem leader Alex Cole-Hamilton, with some officials explicitly raising “concern about her age”?

Is that jobs for the boys then ?

Hope not, as that would then give further credence to what Emma Walker had once stated in 2025 where she said there was “sexist and misogynistic behaviours from senior Lib Dem men”.

I mean we all know already that the Lib Dems, as a party , always were #BAD, but for some reason other voters and the media failed to catch up with our insight upon them as a party, an insight that we have ascertained via evidence of their past #VeryBad behaviour.

Yellow Tories that is what the Lib Dems are. (hence why the BBC tries to both promote and protect them).

Also as for BBC Scotland , well that is where we do not always get all of the “News where we are”
