You write in the context of your article of ambulance waiting time that “BBC Scotland has since managed to get them removed.”
Well I’ll tell you something else about the BBC in respect to Scotland, namely about Scottish politics, that as news today, is not on their website, BBC Scotland or BBC Scotland Politics, as of 3pm today.
And that is that today they have managed so far to completely ignore a #BAD story (that broke over the weekend) that is currently being reported in the media that is linked to the Scottish Lib Dems.
This is strange, as only last week they, the BBC on their Scottish pages, had a article on their website that stated “Lib Dems the most influential party at Holyrood, Cole-Hamilton says”.
So what is the latest (#bad) news in relation to the Scottish Lib Dems?
Well it is in respect to one of their MP’s elected in Scotland, Christine Jardine.
It seems that she is currently stating that she has been told by some within the party , that she is “too old for re-election”.
She said that “her age was seen by party colleagues as a factor in why she should not seek re-election” .
She then said ” I decided that I’ve had enough” and also said “It’s not how I wanted it to end and I didn’t want to step down but I’d had enough of what I felt was going on in the party”.
This is interesting, as who are these party colleagues , who have told her that she was “too old for re-election” ?
Also what does she mean when she said “I’d had enough of what I felt was going on in the party” ?
So what has been “going on in the party” ?
Is the BBC not curious to explore this as current news , as in it being a very topical piece of Scottish political news happening in relation to Scottish politics ?
Or am I being naïve in forgetting the BBC’s rule, that rule being that any #BAD news relating to politics in Scotland, is then mostly only confined to and so then only reported as being typical #BAD news linked mainly to the SNP.
Former CEO of the Scottish Lib Dems, Emma Walker of the #AskAlex campaign , said on social media that:
“This is not- IN ANY WAY- to do with age”.
So I guess then that we will all have to imagine if this were a female SNP MP of the same age as Ms Jardine that this happened to, then would the BBC also decide to just ignore it as a story on their website?
Now that, needs very little thought as to what the answer would be.
Remember it is the Scottish local elections next year and the Lib Dems will be fighting for seats against the SNP , so as the BBC is currently in election campaign mode , then part of their strategy is to only highlight #SNPBAD stories while either downplaying (in making excuses for) or ignoring any #BAD stories linked to other parties, including the Lib Dems in Scotland.

Will this story grow arms and legs in the media or will it be cut off (in it’s prime) after being reported as it stands, just now , as a story ?
Will Ms Jardine expand further on this story or will she now cease and desist for the (non) greater good of the party ?
(As in the same party that is allegedly dumping her because of her age and sex , or is it really her alleged ongoing poor relationship that she has had with ACH the branch office manager in Scotland ).
The Scotsman was alleged to have revealed at the weekend that “she had failed to secure reselection by her local executive committee. Allies and insiders confirmed she was pushed aside in favour of an ally of Scottish Lib Dem leader Alex Cole-Hamilton, with some officials explicitly raising “concern about her age”?
Is that jobs for the boys then ?
Hope not, as that would then give further credence to what Emma Walker had once stated in 2025 where she said there was “sexist and misogynistic behaviours from senior Lib Dem men”.
I mean we all know already that the Lib Dems, as a party , always were #BAD, but for some reason other voters and the media failed to catch up with our insight upon them as a party, an insight that we have ascertained via evidence of their past #VeryBad behaviour.
Yellow Tories that is what the Lib Dems are. (hence why the BBC tries to both promote and protect them).
Also as for BBC Scotland , well that is where we do not always get all of the “News where we are”

You would have thought that some in BBC Scotland might break ranks and report accurately to at least try and pretend to be a news organisation before they are made redundant, seems not.

Looking at that picture that you added onto this post brings back bad memories.
That is when ACH mouthed F*** you to Maree Todd during a virtual Scottish parliament meeting and yet he, ACH, survived as an MSP .
The headline on the BBC website in February 2021 :
“Lib Dems MSP Alex Cole-Hamilton ‘sorry’ for swearing at female minister”
So BBC the apology is the story not the shocking action itself ?
The BBC article stated that “Since the incident last week, he has faced criticism for appearing to blame Ms Todd for provoking the outburst”.
Of course he did (and there was no “appearing” about it), as he has absolutely no grace nor any class , that is to know when he is 100% wrong.
Note also it was an act that he did towards a female .

The BBC article also stated that “He accepted that he had “muttered something under my breath that I shouldn’t have”, and apologised to the minister”.
“He accepted that he muttered something under his breath” ?
I don’t think so.
It was as clear as day what he was mouthing , which was an aggressive , bullying and inappropriate expletive to a female, within what was supposed to be a professional event.
Maree Todd said that “swearing is appalling, the face contorted with anger also requires some explanation”.
Indeed.
And yet this was the person, six months later in August 2021, that the Lib Dems thought was the most suitable to become their branch office manager in Scotland from what was a very small and weak pool to choose from.
Hence why I identify them as being #VeryBad.
Also (Tory) voters in Edinburgh, in the May 2021 Scottish elections, also thought he was the best candidate to win the constituency seat with him receiving 25,578 votes, the highest number of votes ever cast for a single candidate in a Scottish Parliament election.

I mean as part of Cole-Hamilton’s apology in February 2021 in the chamber at Holyrood , he stated:
“Each of us in this chamber should strive to reflect the better natures of the people we are sent here to serve. I am very sorry and I will reflect on that.”.
“Each of us should strive” ?
Sorry this was not about other MSP’s, this was only, in this instance, about him and his uncouth and inappropriate behaviour.
Perhaps he should have been made to go to some anger management sessions, since clearly he was unable to control his behaviour and anger, or was it because the person that he was directing this anger and verbal abuse at , was only a woman ?
ACH also won the constituency seat in the Scottish elections in 2026 and the Lib Dems gained 6 seats in that election, so they went from 4 MSP’s to 10 MSP’s.
(Seems that some other constituents in other areas also easily forget and forgive bad behaviour and a #Bad political party like the Lib Dems or was it more #TacticalVoting to stop the SNP).
As it seems that no matter what they, as a party do or say , well it seems that voters here in Scotland will easily forgive (and forget) their words and actions as a #VeryBad party (see comment above from Anonymous @ 11.22am on 28 September) but also perhaps because , unlike the SNP, the media in Scotland try not to make too much of a fuss when the Lib Dems are acting #VeryBad.
Yet again need to say that if this had been a male SNP MSP who had sworn at a female colleague from another party , then the calls for him to resign would have been deafening, so the chances are that SNP MSP would have had to resign.
However as ACH obviously lacks grace and class , he was allowed to make a (non) apology and he just brazenly continued on, more likely because he probably considered the blame for this swearing and anger incident lay firmly at the feet of Maree Todd (the victim in this).
BTW today , 29 September, the BBC in their ‘Scottish pages’ still have nothing , as articles, on this Christine Jardine story !
Also none of the so called Scottish editions of the newspapers today have noted this story on Jardine either on their front pages, as they have too much anti SNP and dubious Scotland articles to headline on their front pages instead , so why would they ever want to be distracted by this ‘Scottish’ Lib Dem #BAD story ?
(Of course had she been a SNP female MP being ousted because of her age, then their front pages would be ablaze with #SNPBAD propaganda).
The latest news on this Jardine story is that ACH apparently “will not intervene in an ageism row that reportedly led a Scottish Liberal Democrat MP to be ‘ousted’ from the party”.
That’s ACH the , checks notes, supposed ‘leader’ of the supposed ‘Scottish’ Lib Dems not wanting to “intervene” in a “ageism row” concerning a supposed ‘Scottish’ female Lib Dem MP.
Also known as him trying to avoid being transparent, which is also regarded as a political ploy , in that in him saying nothing and also not getting involved in this , then he hopes that it will all eventually just go away. (he is probably right too , based on the fact that his party , unlike the SNP, gets away with having no real scrutiny by the media here in Scotland).
Perhaps ACH could create a distraction to try to deflect away any small attention that there currently is in respect to this Jardine story – one that he would want the BBC to print an article about- or rather one that he knows they will take an interest in, especially if it does not make neither the Lib Dems nor him look and seem #BAD).
Come on BBC Scotland’s Scotcast or BBC Scotland’s Disclosures , surely this Jardine and Lib Dem story is worth something via either, or both, of your programmes ? (perhaps to drag you away from your nevereneding #SNPBAD and #SCotlandIsS**** programmes).

“Too much of Sturgeon’s care ‘Promise’ remains on paper, report says”
Aye , that’s the only apparent BBC big story where we are , not !
(Mind you the BBC needs to offset the news in England that “Burnham has delayed major social care reforms until after the next general election, scheduled for 2029” , so they have added some #SNPBAD news connected to the the care system in Scotland – the BBC , like clockwork , on the job again, all just to try to prove that Scotland is just as bad (if not worse) than England).
