From the Tri-City Herald (Washington State) two days ago:
The estate of a delivery driver who died of complications of cancer is suing the federal government for $10 million, saying it did not adequately protect a man during his deliveries to the Hanford nuclear site. The lawsuit claims Bradley W. Peterson’s metastatic prostate cancer was caused by exposures to radiological and toxic materials when me made deliveries from 1982 to 1998 to the nuclear reservation adjacent to Richland in Eastern Washington.

I can find no comparable lawsuit by a delivery driver or similar visitor to a licensed nuclear site (Sellafield, Dounreay, Aldermaston/AWE, Springfields, etc.) alleging cancer from on-site radiological or chemical exposures and seeking damages
There are clear reasons.
In the US, states and individuals do commonly file such cases. Hanford and other DOE sites have a long record of radiation and toxic-exposure suits, including people who were not prime-contractor radiation workers. The Peterson filing is an example of that being treated as a real case, not a theoretical one. https://biotech.law.lsu.edu/cases/immunity/hanford.htm
In the UK, states and individuals do NOT commonly file such cases. There is a statute that can cover injury to someone who is not an employee, and a 30-year long-stop for radiation injury under that Act. I could not find examples that look like this — a vendor driver, regular short visits, cancer decades later, claim against the operator or the state. Worker-scheme and test-veteran cases dominate instead. https://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/1965/57/section/7/data.xht?view=snippet&wrap=true
