BBC website : “Disruption at Port of Dover as masked men hold protest“
“masked men” and then according to the BBC they were holding a “protest“.
More like thugs on the loose disguising themselves but why ?
What’s that saying again “if it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck” etc etc
Hey BBC why not say it like it really is .
The article states:
“Hundreds of protesters, dressed in black and wearing face coverings, blocked roads and were heard chanting “stop the boats”.
“Traffic was stopped from going in and out of the port, with the government saying it condemned “the behaviour in Dover and the travel disruption it has caused”.
“Kent Police, which made no arrests, moved the crowd from the port to Dover Priory railway station at about 11:30 BST and said “all involved had dispersed by 12:00”.
“made no arrests” ?
” (UK) government saying it condemned the behaviour” ?
Oh really , so then it’s really lucky for them, those masked men, that none of them at Dover were seen holding up placards supporting Palestine Action and so then condemned as being “Terrorists” by that same UK government , also then I am sure there would definitely have been arrests made by Kent police.
Since July of last year, British police have arrested over 3,000 people for expressing support for the group Palestine Action.
Meanwhile today at Dover hundreds of masked men all dressed in black caused major disruptions to transport but all the police did was just move them on to a railway station also in Dover
I remember when Just Oil protestors , who also organised protests, brought part of the M25 to a standstill – five of them were jailed.
The Crime and Policing Act 2026 now states that wearing a face covering on a march or protest can now lead to an immediate arrest, but only if the police have officially designated the area as a “no-mask zone.
I guess Kent Police do not consider Dover as an potential problem area for any ‘protest’, which is strange as I am sure that it has been reported many times as a hot spot for thugs and Idiots to often stand with placards that want to “Stop the Boats”.
England now appears to have rules for some (thugs) and rules for others (peaceful and justified protestors) when it comes to what is regarded as ‘protests’ , though really who looks and sounds far more threatening ?
The UK State is ducked and cannot now be salvaged.

Absolutely Liz. When I read ‘no arrests were made’ last night I was just jaw on the freakin floor and was utterly appalled. These masked thugs can stop traffic, spout their hate in the streets and cause fear and yet, all of them were given a free pass to do so, even esscorted to a train station, aww, that’s really thoughtful of the ‘police’ to make sure they were all OK and didn’t miss their train home. Bring a tear to a glass eye so it would.

The Freeview TV Channels are running adverts for UNICEF asking for donations to help their work with the children of Gaza, together with some scenes of the devastation there. Each time I see them I can’t help wondering why the UK Govt isn’t insisting that these ads be withdrawn on the grounds that they are demonstrating pro-Palestinian sentiments
That’s how cynical I’ve become about the UK Govt and its actions these days.
Meanwhile, people can swan about the country with face coverings designed to frighten ordinary citizens while at the same time hiding their identity and nothing is done. Although maybe the police decided in this instance because of the location that if they got too heavy handed it could lead to violence and danger for innocent people. It’s difficult for them to get things right.
But this sort of behaviour is bound to escalate if it’s not nipped in the bud, because there are people out there who thrive on this just for the sheer excitement and power they think it gives them. It doesn’t take much to start a war.

They probably got on the wrong train for The Reform UK conference , ended up in Dover , saw the ferries and did what Nigel would have urged them to do , so blocked the roads to stop all those foreigners ‘invading’ the country to attack their helpless women and girls .
Then the non-political police , seeing these poor ”protesters” were leaderless and unsure of where the nearest ”foreign men of fighting age” were located , guided them to the station where they could catch the next train to Clacton-on-sea !

BBC website top story on their Scotland page this morning 7 September 2026:
“Swinney’s £2 cap on bus fares kicks in – but some call it ‘half a solution'”.
So yet again the same old BBC.
So whenever the Scottish government intend to do something to try to help people, then instead of the BBC just writing a positive piece upon this, well what do we get instead ?
We get the BBC including the now all too familiar addition of the words “but some ” , that is whenever they, the BBC, try to cast negativity, doubt and suspicion upon any action being taken by the Scottish government.
On the Scottish politics page they have another article on this same story with a different headline that is also negative (as in overkill as per usual output via the BBC) that states:
“Electric bus operator concerned about ‘slogan’ £2 fare cap”.
So then what headlines did the same BBC have when Burnham introduced this same initiative in England ?
Well on 22 July 2026 there was this BBC headline on that story:
“Most bus fares in England to be capped at £2 from January”
(Note there is no “but some” in that headline).
Also on that same story on same date there was another headline:
“Burnham says £2 bus fare cap in England being paid for by ‘re-prioritising’ money”
(Note there is no “concerned” bus operator noted in that headline).
Also that second BBC article on this happening in England it states that apparently with Burnham introducing this scheme for England then “there will be extra funding for Scotland, Wales & NI – though they’re not obliged to introduce the same policy”.
Scotland has indeed now decided to introduce this cap but that is now being attacked by the BBC (where yet again the BBC have found those people who have negative comments to contribute upon this being done initially within certain places in Scotland).
I say that they BBC have found those people but more likely the BBC sought them out.
So yet again the rule is that when Scotland , via it’s government , does anything constructive or positive to try to help people during the cost of living crisis , be it a cap on bus fares or the Scottish child payment then that is not to be presented by the BBC as being good and positive “news where you are”.
Instead there is always another (negative) angle that the BBC takes – where they always find detractors to any and all positive and good news that comes from Scotland, or alternatively they just try to either diminish or ignore any positive and good news (as they have seemed to try to do with the Scottish child payment via the Scottish government).
A two tier (pro) UK media that exists within the UK State where they , as a (pro) UK media, are mostly all rabidly negative and hostile towards the SNP and also towards Scotland.
Hence the succession of #SNPBAD and #ScotlandIsS**** headlines that we always read and hear via them as the (pro) UK media.
That’s why Scotland needs to get out of the UK State , as we in Scotland are being swamped with constant (pro) UK State propaganda.
This deluge of (pro) UK State propaganda is being delivered by mostly all of the (pro) UK media , who as a (pro) UK media, are obviously politically compromised with their allegiance to specific (pro) UK political parties but they are also compromised by their support for the UK State remaining intact (as in to still include Scotland within it).
This is client journalism at work.
That client journalism exists within their corrupt UK State to only benefit the financial , business and political interests of those individuals and companies who own all of the politically compromised UK State media.
It , as a media, does not exist to serve the public or inform and educate us.
In fact MSM news instead is often seen to fail to deliver truth and honesty, it often misinforms us and so then also tries to maintain a level of ignorance of the full facts , the full details and also the relevant and significant context of many news stories.
That’s why there is such a backlash against most of the MSM, more so the BBC, as the BBC are most certainly an organisation who are institutionally biased, especially when it comes to them reporting news in relation to Scotland as a country and also upon our Scottish politics.

So balaclavad thugs can threaten people and block roads and will not be arrested as terrorists.
Old ladies protesting about the genocide of Palestinians will be arrested as terrorists.
These “Friends of Israel” in the Labour Party are thoroughly compromised.

He then posted this from the Home Office:

In other words this is being said by the UK Home Office to try to appease the likes of Rupert Lowe, Nigel Farage, the far right agitators, the right wing media and also all of those members of the public who are either too ignorant , too cruel , too unsympathetic , too lacking in empathy or basically just too stupid to form any original thought. (as they all seem to lack any sense of virtue).
The mob mentality of these so called “patriots” who all fail to to try to source, via some research , some independent information to at least try to establish some real truth and some real facts for themselves.
Instead for these so called “patriots” all of the political slogans together with political and media propaganda always wins the day, as opposed to them trying to gain some basic knowledge through basic research and also via basic common sense ( which sadly most of them lack).
In fact these so called “patriots” could at least try to do some basic research that is outwith their usual right wing sources or are they all in denial that they are being radicalised by the right ?
Is that because they themselves are incapable of applying any critical thinking themselves ?
Maybe “Now is the time” for them , as so called “patriots” , to determine whether it is actually the Migrants who cause all of the problems both within and also for the UK State , or whether it just might be the very wealthy within the UK State who are the real problem.
The same very wealthy people who we are told will leave (Scotland) and will also leave the UK State, if their taxes are increased in Scotland by the Scottish government or increased in England & Wales by the UK government.
As apparently ***many of the very wealthy people do not want to pay their fair share in taxes to the UK Treasury***. (***this is a fact that both certain right wing politicians promote and also that the right wing media promotes as well***)
Of course with the uninformed so called “patriots” always blaming (innocent) “others” (Migrants), that then let’s the various different UK governments off .
That is all of the various different UK governments , who for too many years have not been held fully accountable nor responsible for all of their lack of action and their far too many bad (and wrong) decisions/policies which has now resulted in so much mess existing within the UK State.
Mob mentality driven by wanton ignorance is a scourge for any country or State, and that is what we are witnessing now within various parts of the UK State.

The ‘leaders of the protests’ are making money out of it. U tube content. Depending on how many hits. Using social media to organise. Playing on people vulnerabilities to stir it up to make money.out of it.
The UK has less immigrants than other countries. Germany has 12million immigrants and a good economy. Lost Russian Germany party which supports end to Ukraine war and getting cheaper Russian gas is winning an election. There will be a change of policy. Nuclear missiles will be moved from Russian borders. 26million Russians died in WW2. They defeated the German regime. 1/2 million British. 1/2 French. Much lower casualies. It was Russia that took the hit. Ruined their economy.
Stalingrad was wiped out. The Germans got surrounded and stuck in the Russian winter, The Germans had to try to fly supplies in. Ended up the Germans had to surrender. Defeated. Yalta Treaty. Decided the outcome of the settlement. 75% of the German Army were killed.
