“Mobile dental services and urgent care rollouts in Peterborough have drawn heavy demand and long queues due to severe local shortages in NHS dentist access. (Belfast Telegraph).

I was also told by someone who lives in Cambridge that when these mobile dentist visited Peterborough (this year) there were not enough dentists and not enough time for all of the hundreds of people who had queued to get seen by one of these (six) dentists offering NHS dental work via their mobile dental service.

These mobile dentists also exist for other areas in England and these Mobile dentists and community dental vans in England do not operate on a fixed national timetable.

So when we hear certain (pro) UK media , so called (not so independent) experts or (pro) UK politicians talk down the Scottish NHS , dental or medical, we have to see that this is , for them, clearly a form of projection, where the (clear) failures of the English NHS , dental & medical, must then be (falsely) identified as also happening within the Scottish NHS.

Mind you if all individual people living within Scotland have a far more positive experience within the Scottish NHS (both dental & medical) then they are hardly going to either agree or believe the pro UK media, the so called (not so independent) experts or all of the (pro UK) opposition politicians when they describe the Scottish NHS as being “broken” or providing a “sub-standard (bad) service” are they ?

The NHS service is not perfect in Scotland but then that, as a situation, is not exclusive to Scotland within the UK State is it?

However apparently it is perfection within the Scottish NHS that is expected by the (pro) UK media, the so called (not so independent) experts and all of the (pro UK) opposition politicians.

Also NHS spending decisions taken at a UK government level impact the Scottish NHS.

Meanwhile in respect to the English NHS we are constantly informed that “external factors and pressures” are to be considered for the cause of many of their problems within their NHS, including the long term impact of Covid which has been stated as having “triggered unprecedented healthcare backlogs and workforce shortages in their NHS services within England”.

However who within pro UK politics, and as so called independent experts and also within the pro UK media will factor in these same excuses/reasons to explain any such (lesser) impacts upon the Scottish NHS (dental & medical) ?

Well no one within the above categories, as it is far easier for them to just try to over sensationalise and falsely state that “The SNP have “failed the Scottish NHS” , “The SNP have broken the Scottish NHS” etc etc

See, it is all projection.
