A meeting with anti-racism organisations was held in June after disorder in Glasgow and elsewhere in Scotland. Mr Swinney met with anti-racism campaigners and those working with refugees. The talks came after two police officers and three people were injured in disturbances in Glasgow – with police saying members of the public had been “attacked because of the colour of their skin”. How big is this problem?

BBC Scotland and the Express are pushing this with talk of ‘no-go areas’ in Glasgow and using evidence of social media activity as a proxy for real facts on the ground.

Facts are available but they don’t tell the tale media and opposition parties want to hear.

As the UK Ministry of Justice prepares for summer riots how only Scotland has the lower crime levels, the complete absence of riots previously, lower levels of background racism and the police staffing levels to be able to help other countries

Only BBC Scotland reports on racism in the NHS yet on their own figures it is more than TWICE as common in other parts of the UK
