Every issue must be politicised

BBC Scotland today has the above and:

A devastating wildfire that has been ablaze for three days in the Cairngorms is still “burning hard”, residents have warned.

Community leaders criticised the Scottish government for describing the incident as “contained”, despite flames spreading further through the national park.

and:

Sandy McCook, chairman of Nethy Bridge community council, told BBC Radio Scotland: “They are doing sterling work, they are doing everything they can.

“But it is still a bucket in the ocean compared to the size of the incident we have.”

McCook criticised Justice Secretary Neil Graywho said the fire was “currently contained” on Thursday, before the response was scaled up a day later.

He added: “For Neil Gray to say the fire is contained is rubbish. They will not listen to local experts, gamekeepers, ghillies, farmers. “People think contained means it is virtually out.

“It is still spreading, it is still burning hard, there are people’s live and homes at great risk. Wildlife and landscape is being destroyed.”

Here’s what the SFRS said:

We are undertaking aggressive operations across two sectors to contain and suppress the fire….This incident remains appropriately resourced, with all assets coordinated through robust command structures, in partnership with agencies on the ground and through the Community Asset Register. We recognise and appreciate the offers of additional support that have been received. However, to support ongoing operations, we ask people not to attend the scene. https://www.firescotland.gov.uk/news/more-than-50-firefighters-and-helicopters-support-ongoing-response-to-glenmore-wildfire/

Is it still spreading? There is no such reference in the above report yesterday to the fire.spreading.

They will not listen to local experts, gamekeepers, ghillies, farmers. “People think contained means it is virtually out.‘ Is there any evidence for this in actual quotes from named individuals?

No, there is no publicly available evidence of that from any named individual in credible news sources or official statements. https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c3v0kpderp9o

There is only Mr McCook, his unattributed claims and paraphrasing.

Sandy retired last year from his job of just photographer at the P&J last year.

  1. What do the SFRS know about putting out fires compared to Sandy McCook, Chairman of the Nethy Bridge Community Council.

You have to feel sorry for those people used by the media as sticks, willing or not, to beat the Scottish Government.

Indeed that is always the case for Scotland , meanwhile it seems that the opposite is the case elsewhere within their Britain.

That’s what comes of having a hostile British media having a licence and remit to spread British propaganda throughout our country, Scotland.

Who, as a media, speaks for Scotland ?

Well that is apparently currently only one newspaper( that as a newspaper is the sister paper of yet another BritNat paper, that as a BritNat paper, also publishes their British propaganda throughout Scotland. ).

However we do have a healthy and diligent online media , such as TUS and others, that both supports and promotes truth and also exposes all of BritNat lies. (which is now far more significant in this so called digital age).
