In the Herald today, clearly now giving up entirely on Anas:
Labour ploughed thousands into Anas Sarwar’s doomed bid to win a constituency seat, according to receipts filed with the Returning Officer in Glasgow. Despite the cash boost, the party leader still lost heavily to the SNP’s Zen Ghani.
and:

So, £3.36 is £1.25 more than £2.11, 59.24%.
We need a public inquiry into Scottish Labour embezzling their members in this way.

Shouldn’t it be mandatory that a Party leader in Holyrood should at least be elected to a Constituency? Otherwise the Party is represented by a Party hack rather than someone with constituents to answer to.

Sarwar Snr . bought his wee boy his political career , first at Westminster , then as leader of Scottish (sic ) Labour .
Sadly , he didn’t have enough dosh to buy him a constituency seat at Holyrood ! LoL !

Presumably most of he money wasted on Sarwars campaign came from England, as they have very few party members in Scotland.
Can’t wait for the inquiry into party funding to begin.
