What Anas did was to do a deal with Starmer. “Ok I’ll slag you off so that I appear to be independent from Labour at Westminster. That’ll bring the votes rolling in”
Now that Labour crashed, he can’t really slag off Starmer as Starmer is in bother with his own party and pontification from Anas is the last thing he needs , but neither can he support Starmer as he’ll look like the hypocrite he is.
