So, a non-Jew on his way to a non-Jewish event is ‘pushed and spat at‘ by someone shouting ‘anti-semitic abuse’ in Edinburgh is a sign that Scotland’s Jews too must now fear events comparable to the actual stabbing, in London, of two men wearing Jewish headgear, by a man with a long history of mental health problems and who had earlier that day tried to murder a Muslim man?

You’d think even the churnos at the Scotsman might realise ‘Hey we’re constructing a moral panic here.’

You know, where the media amplify a relatively rare form of crime to make it seem worse and scare their readers into calling for police action and buying more newspapers?

I mean, really, is that all they have?

They mention the Community Security Trust (CST) but, of course, omit to tell us what their researchers know about Scotland.

This:

I’ve been following the annual survey by the Jewish charity, the Community Security Trust, of anti-semitic offences since 2022. In that time there have been increases in offences in England but not in Scotland and, notably, year after year, not one physical assault in Scotland and four times the rate of lesser offences such as graffiti in England.

In October this year we saw:

also hopeful it is safer as Jewish people to live in Glasgow, in Scotland than there is not as much anti-Semitism, ant-Zionism, there is not these much going ahead, there is not so much hatred.

Reporting Scotland last night we saw an interview with a Jewish woman from Glasgow, welcoming the apparent peace settlement in Gaza but also, unscripted, telling the reporter that she is aware of less anti-Semitism in Scotland.

This is not something the MSM here want you to be thinking. Remember, we’re just like the rest of the UK, bad.

While BBC Scotland can never say these things directly, they always make sure you see or hear them in their press reviews.

However, this little insert is a useful confirmation of the more objective evidence found in research such as that produced by the UK Jewish group, the CST:

Contrary to media hysteria, there was not one anti-Semitic violent attack recorded in Scotland in 2024

The most recent report on anti-semitic attacks in the UK, in 2024, from the CST, published 12 February 2025, prompted some excited media coverage at the time but today the hoisting, in Edinburgh, of a Palestine flag in sympathy for the genocide in Gaza and in line with the UN position on Palestine as an independent state has enabled the above front page mince.

From Antisemitic Incidents 2024:

 CST recorded 3,528 antisemitic incidents in the UK in 2024, the second-highest total ever reported to CST in a single calendar year.

Only one of the cases could be described by the researchers as ‘Extreme Violence include any antisemitic attack with the potential or intention of causing loss of life or grievous bodily harm (GBH).’ 126 cases were described as ‘violent.’ None of these took place in Scotland.

74 of these all cases reported took place in Scotland, with 8% of the UK population so, per head of population, that would be equivalent to just below 900, around a quarter of the rate.

Bizarrely the only case reported in Scotland and used in the report is this:

A series of antisemitic leaflets were seen in northern Scotland. They were produced by the Goyim Defence League and claimed that “Every Single Aspect Of Feminism Is Jewish”

    What is actually strange is that the BBC reported in an interview with one of the stabbed men , Shloime Rand, this:

    “When Rand spoke to the BBC yesterday he described how, as he left a synagogue, he was stabbed in his chest“.

    I may be wrong but, so far, I have not read that they both had their “throats cut” all I have read is that they were both “stabbed”.

    But then why does JK Rowling not also mention that both of these Green leaders (one the actual leader the other one the Deputy leader) have omitted , in their posts, a third man who was also stabbed that same day , Ishmail Hussein, who was from a different “particular demographic” , that is , he is a Muslim and also perhaps he too was “shaken” and “affected” in being stabbed by this suspect.

    Why indeed.

    JKR there , doing her bit (again) to also try to stop the Greens making significant gains in the elections this Thursday, seemingly she and others assume that ‘every little bit helps’ just as she and others also assumed that her input and money would greatly help the NO side win in 2014.

    She also did her bit in demonising Jeremy Corbyn when he was leader of the Labour party, shows her judgement not great especially when one now sees what came after Corbyn……the only part she may be happy with is that the right of the Labour party have now taken over.

    Nose -sticking-in ….being her forte.

  6. There is a great article in The Canary today 4 May 2026 :

    “When Muslim men are murdered, the reaction is institutional indifference”

    “Abdul Wali Mamozai, a Muslim man, was murdered in Bracknell on 27 April, a few days before a mentally ill man wounded two Jewish people and one Muslim man in London.

    “When the latter attack took place, the media went into a frenzy. The Muslim victim was airbrushed out to a footnote at best. The government and ‘opposition’ condemned the “antisemitic” attack, immediately announcing special measures and huge amounts of extra funding for security for the Jewish community”.

    “The Met Police has also ignored the Muslim victim“.

    When Abdul Wali Mamozai  was murdered, local media carried a note about a man being killed. His religion and ethnicity were not mentioned. ‘Mainstream’ press and broadcasters ignored his death. Thames Valley Police “urged people not to speculate about the details of the case or circulate inaccurate information”.

    “A month earlier, 18-year-old Zeshan Afzal was fatally stabbed outside a West Midlands mosque. Two other Muslim men were wounded. Nine people were charged with his murder”

    “His alleged killers have not yet been named, but there has been no political or media outcry. There has been no condemnation of, or even speculation about the murder of a Muslim man by an apparent mob”.

    (I checked this and the BBC had a website article (hidden away) on a local page for Birmingham & Black Country. The headline was “Nine face murder charge over stabbing near mosque” and the text of the article stated this:

    “A total of nine teenagers have now been charged with murder over the fatal stabbing of an 18-year-old outside a mosque in Smethwick. Zeshan Afzal was found with serious injuries following an incident on Oldbury Road on 20 February. He died from his wounds shortly afterwards. Following another round of changes, West Midlands Police said two teenagers, aged 14 and 17, appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court on Monday accused of murder. The force added it was continuing to appeal for information and urged anyone with information who had not yet spoken to officers to do so”)

    No mention of the fact that he , the victim, was a Muslim nor indeed the “particular demographic” of the Nine teenagers who were charged with his murder.

    The Canary article continues in adding:

    “The non-responses of media and politicians to Mamozai’s and Afzal’s murders were not exceptions. In March, a visibly Muslim woman was deliberately and horrifically mowed down in London by a car that swerved to make sure it struck her. ‘Mainstream’ media coverage was and remains almost non-existent”

    “Islamophobic attacks vastly outnumbered antisemitic incidents during the year ending March 2025″

    “Home office data also indicated they have risen while antisemitic incidents fell during the same period — even though pro-Israel groups count the mere waving of a Palestine flag as a hate incident. This cannot be discerned from the media or political discourse”

    ( I checked and the Home office page on “Hate crime, England and Wales, year ending March 2025” contained information that included a table that showed “Numbers, proportions and rates of religious hate crimes recorded by the police, by the perceived targeted religion, all forces, year ending March 2025, England and Wales” where in 2024/2025 proportion of religious hate crimes against Muslims was 45% and against Jewish people 29%, so in 2024/2025 there was 4478 Muslims subject to religious crimes and for the same period 2873 Jewish people”).

    Yet one is widely promoted and condemned by Starmer, the Labour party, Badenoch and the Tory party , The Met Commissioner, and the MSM while the other is largely minimised and ignored (with crucial details omitted).

    The Canary then states that ” Fifty mosques were attacked in a five-month period in 2025. Independent left media covered it, but there was barely a murmur in the ‘msm’”.

    “Yet pro-Israel groups are complaining that anti-racist groups don’t pay enough attention to attacks on Jewish people”.

    See what have we have here is a huge hypocrisy but also big money is being donated to the Labour party and also to the Tories via certain sections of the Jewish community , and that then means that they, as UK citizens, will take priority in new laws being created to supposedly protect them , while nothing is being done for all of the Muslims who are being murdered when they are subjected to the same hatred and violence (more so) .

    Suppressing the right to protest and so then considering banning some marches that are clearly against Israel’s war crimes, is not to protect UK Jews but it is being done to stop public opposition and condemnation to the genocide being committed by Netanyahu and his Israeli government.

    The UK State is a corrupt and is s*** place to live and to be a part of , hence my motivation to only ever vote for parties that seek to leave it .
