‘World Health Organization is preparing for possibility of strikes on nuclear facilities like Faslane as conflict in the Middle East intensifies’

From DAGENS.com yesterday:

The World Health Organization is preparing for potential nuclear-related scenarios as conflict in the Middle East intensifies. Officials say contingency plans now include the possibility of strikes on nuclear facilities or even the use of nuclear weapons.

According to Politico, the WHO is updating its internal protocols and guidance for governments and health workers.

The agency is focusing on how to respond to radiation-related emergencies.

How much damage would a strike on the Faslane base, HMNB Clyde, home of Britain’s nuclear submarines, only 30 miles from Glasgow?

  1. Exactly how are any protagonist in the middle east. Going to move a missile carrying a nuclear payload or other to somewhere along the Lisbon-Rome-Belgrade corridor without being noticed. Far less launch it.

Any further away from Faslane and it will not reach the intended target.

Or am I misinformed and everyone has intercontinental missile capability.

      1. Yes, I think you might have a point.

The ‘Iranian ballistic missiles can reach Europe’ attempt at panic was initiated by the Israelis to try to panic Europeans into putting pressure on their governments, including the UK, who are, rightly in my view, resisting being drawn into the war.

it is of note that the BBC’s Laura Kuennsberg, asked a UK Minister, rather aggressively, ‘Why would Israel lie?’ when he said the UK intelligence did not indicate a present danger from ballistic missiles.

  2. We’re like the Gulf states. Having a nuclear power dump their bases on your territory doesn’t make you safe, it makes you a target.

  3. Scary thing is we are far more likely to see a false flag attack by you know who…they are experts at that. Anything to put the fear into the minds of people in Scotland, there’s an election coming up soon.

  4. Iran is at least a thousand miles too far away to hit Faslane even with their best missile, so wars not going to well for the ” Allies ” let’s ramp up the fear factor to justify England getting involved and the possible use of nukes, boots on the ground are not an option.

  5. Of course , even if the Iranians do not ”target” Faslane , luminaries such as Lord Robertson , ex-chief propagandist for NATO , will have us watching the skies for alien attacks ! Martians , perhaps ? LoL !
