1. Well since your talking about the Scotsman newspaper , I just noticed this as a headline and article via the supposed but obviously not ‘Scottish’ edition of the Daily Express…….

   “Nicola Sturgeon’s legacy obsession poisoned Scottish Parliament and put women and children at risk, says Ash Regan“

   Apparently “The former SNP Minister spoke exclusively to the ‘Scottish’ Daily Express ahead of the Scottish Parliamentary election”.

   The Daily Express , hard to see how it can state “Scottish” edition when it is actively a pro UK and also a right wing newspaper, one who always calls those of us who support the SNP as being the “Nasty Nats”….and where they , as part of the pro UK MSM, most definitely do not support Scottish independence.

   Way to go Ash Regan………

   I guess needs must for one now so desperate as Ash Regan must now be…..in her trying to get her #SNPBAD message out, all just for her to try to be re-elected as an Independent MSP in May’s elections, and she is trying to partially do it via a Unionist right wing newspaper that had formerly published this:

   “David Starkey Comments (2015): The Express reported on historian David Starkey claiming the SNP was “strikingly similar” to the Nazis, arguing that the party’s focus on blaming England for Scotland’s problems mirrored how Adolf Hitler blamed Jews for Germany’s struggles”

   ““Scottish Nasty Party” Label (2024): The ‘Scottish’ Daily Express reported on a Scottish Conservative MSP using the term “Scottish Nasty Party” in relation to an antisemitic image shared by an SNP councillor, while also highlighting the definition of antisemitism covering comparisons of Israeli policy to Nazis”

   “Hate Crime Act Coverage (2024): The Scottish Daily Express ran an opinion piece comparing the SNP’s Hate Crime Act to Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia”

   That BTW is the same (supposed but not) ‘Scottish’ Daily Express who reported that “SNP chiefs have been urged to ditch a candidate who compared the Tories to Adolf Hitler’s Nazi party and shared anti-Semitic material online”.

   It seems to be that different rules apply for different parties as far as the non Scottish Daily Express is concerned and also it seems for Ash Regan too……as surely she must be holding her nose in reaching out to the likes of the decidedly non Scottish and anti Independence Daily Express.

   Well that surely was her first mistake , or rather one of many that she has made since not winning the SNP leadership, as in her choosing to speak “exclusively” to an anti independence BritNat newspaper like them…….

   In 2023 she formerly was a candidate for the SNP leadership and failed to win…and then she ran for the Alba leadership in 2025 and again she failed to win ….now she is as an independent so then finally, at last, she is her own boss.

   So then her lack of savvy sees her speaking to a paper aka as a rag, that is part of what we call the gutter press…….

   So Regan is now an Independent MSP who had defected to the Alba party from the SNP.

   I do hope all of those volunteers who , in the past, canvassed for her to win the Edinburgh East seat against Keiza Dugdale in 2016 , now have all hopefully abandoned her , as she has now shown her true colours in whom , as a supposed media, she has chosen to try to get her limited political message out to……as in people who would normally vote Tory or Reform UK and so who may buy this rag , of a so called but not really, newspaper…….

   Ash Regan – speaking “exclusively” to the anti Scottish Daily Express so then helping to get the so called Unionist (but actually BritNat) message out there to help stop Scottish independence happening in the future……..

   I mean Gender Bill aside – no true Scot , nor indeed any decent person, would surely ever be willing speak to The Daily Express…..who, as a supposed newspaper, have a huge opposition to both the SNP and also to Scottish independence, surely to God that, if nothing else, is abundantly clear……

   Desperate times call for , not so much desperate measures, but more really desperately clutching at a Unionist straw , where the Daily Express, as Unionists, are only to happy to oblige Regan with an “exclusive” interview , as long as she only wants to say #SNPBAD just before the Scottish elections in May.

   It will not help her campaign , but then that’s not why she was indulged by the Express via an ‘exclusive’ interview…….more important to them is that any BritNat party will , they hope, benefit from Regan’s anti SNP grievances.

   Again ‘Way to go Ash’.
