According to the Law Society of Scotland referencing the Scottish Information Commissioner’s (SIC) annual statistics, there were 68 156 FOI requests over the last ten years costing up to £20 million!!! https://lawscot.org.uk/news-and-events/legal-news/foi-performance-improving-commissioners-annual-report-reveals

  1. When you can’t do a competent job for your constituents, submit a FOI. It makes you look busy and relevant (as long as no one looks too closely).

  2. So it seems that the fire in Glasgow is to be politicised.

Both the BBC and certain client media of the Labour party are pandering to Labour MSP Paul Sweeney.

    Investigation on the fire ?

Not needed apparently, as Paul Sweeney, ‘Fire expert’ , as well as being an MSP, is on hand to give his professional input into how and why that fire started.

Apparently part of that input being a case of #SNPBAD.

The Daily Record front page headline:

“Get a grip on Vape shops” (as MSP -that’s Paul S- demands safety crackdown after fire)

So is that “safety crackdown” just to be in Scotland or UK wide ?

Also what is distinct within Scotland on safety issues re Vape shops compared to England, Wales and NI ?

    MSM Monitor posted this yesterday:

“Looks like Scottish Labour MSP Paul Sweeney has won the prize for the first BritNat to try to politicise the Glasgow fire. Sweeney has taken it upon himself to blame the regulatory process for vape shops. Meanwhile the rest of us wait for the official investigation into the exact cause”

Apparently Sweeney was interviewed by the BBC’s Laura Goodwin and MSM Monitor also wrote in another post yesterday that:

“He (Sweeney) said it was preventable, blamed council regulations and demanded Govt action”.

    preventable” and he also “blamed“?

So he said this prior to the full investigation on the fire, so then he also has clairvoyant powers too, or maybe he is just another Labour Jack of all trades but a Master of none.

Of course Glasgow council is run by the SNP and the government he was referring to was the Scottish government, also run by the SNP.

(Let’s not drag in any Labour councils in Scotland or elsewhere within the UK nor indeed the UK government who are responsible for England and also the Welsh government for Wales- both controlled by Labour).

This fire has impacted a lot of people including the people who live within Glasgow.

However it appears that sensitivity and the decency to defer one’s partisan opinion is secondary to any assumed political opportunity for Labour.

So for Sweeney to try to gain a political advantage, especially at this time is beyond shocking, he (wrongly) assumes that his partisan opinion is one that will potentially gain his (Labour) party some political edge over the SNP…….it is absolutely deplorable and yet so very very Labour.

Gutter politics at it’s finest , indulged yet again by the BBC and also by Labour’s client newspaper media , The Daily Record , who as a newspaper state under the banner of their newspaper’s name that they are “Scotland’s Champions”, yet in reality they always act as if they are one of Scotland’s far too many pro UK opponents.
