In the Herald today, based on an interview with Dr Joanna Bredski, Consultant Psychiatrist in Borders Region, formerly in Yorkshire, chair of the BMA Scotland Consultant’s committee, this crazed headline

In 2023/2024, the most recent official figures, 4.3% of NHS Scotland consultants left.1
In the same year, the figure for NHS England was 4.9%, 14% higher.2
Does the good doctor have any explanation as to why we have fewer rats quitting? Fewer opportunities for lucrative private work in Scotland?
Privatisation? What privatisation?

People get fed up of unionist Health Boards.
The Tories cut NHS funding for over ten years. £Billions lost. Cut Education £6Billion a year (£60Billion+). Cut Welfare £16Billion+.
Labour cutting Welfare. Not investing in NHS or Education yet? Despite election promises. The Westminster liars. Killing people.

Remember in NHS England it is Health Trusts. In NHS Scotland it is Health Boards. A useful distinction to remember when the MSM refers to ‘the NHS’ but then mentions Trusts. Then you know it is very likely to be NHS England
