In the end, I accept that all those living in Scotland in 2014, were entitled to vote. I do not blame them for our defeat, as Nigel Farage is doing with regard to the recent by-election result in Manchester. It was a dark alliance of MSM and opposition politicians, especially Gordon Brown, who lied to all of us in an immoral and dishonest campaign of fear.
It is the case that voters born in Scotland split roughly 52.7% Yes to 47.3% No.1 and that in recent polls, those born in England, would still vote by 2 to 1 for NO.2
Do campaigns of fear generally work? Not surprisingly it depends on many factors but the No campaign in 2014 had massive media dominance suggesting to researchers that fear appeals are around twice as effective as non-fear messages.3

Migrants in Scotland were told they would lose their EU membership. 2014 Ref. 200,000 voted No to stay in the EU. 2016. They lost their EU membership. Brexit. Many left to return to the EU.
if the 200,000 voters had voted YES to stay in the EU. YES – Independence vote would have won. Westminster would still have done everything to try and muck it up. Cheat and lie. Under the Official Secrets Act. Unionists swore to defend Westminster and the Crown. Under the Official Secrets Act. That is how Westminster and the Crown always try to control.

200,000 voters would have supported YES. To stay in the EU. Scotland voted to stay in the EU 3016. Scotland lost £Billions to Brexit. Lost CAP support, not supported. Lost lower share of Defence (EU) costs. Lost economic production, Lost talented trained workers. Who voted No. Scotland got shafted as usual. Lie, lie after lie.
