  1. With the latest polls showing an SNP majority in the May election we can expect ”knives out” attacks on the Scottish Government by the MSM in Scotland , with BBCScorchedland taking the lead .

They will be blaming everything and anything that is wrong anywhere on the SNP Government regardless of The FACTS !

    1. What you say about “knives out for the SNP ” is correct and will doubtless continue until the election.

I would however echo the Prof’s warning to exercise caution re the recent MRP poll predicting an SNP majority with the party capturing 67 seats on the constituency vote ALONE.

We all know this was accomplished in 2011 but its an extremely high bar and I personally think it is unlikely to happen. Dont forget who the client was for whom this poll was commissioned … THE TIMES.

A failure to capture the ’67’ seats prophesised would prompt headlines in the union media along the lines….” SNP FAIL IN HOLYROOD MAJORITY BID ” ….bla bla bla etc.

I’d love it to happen and will be voting SNP to make it happen but I’m taking this poll with 1cwt (old currency) of salt.

  2. I suspect that the BBC Scotland and the Herald are now in a bit of crisis mode on the run up to the 7th May.

They have tried to invent SNP failings from Ferries, Hospitals, Trans People, etc, etc.

Yet, all they have achieved is a growing support for the SNP with an increasing number of folk refusing to finance the BBC and a dropping circulation for the Herald.

If only there could be another royal baby on the way to reunite the Kingdom with lots of flags and street parties. Is Andy still available?

  3. Labour must know by now that they need not spend too much on canvassing for May’s elections, as it is so obvious that the BBC is more than willing to take up the slack , in them, the BBC, constantly promoting Sarwar and Labour in Scotland in the lead up to May’s elections.

The words voracious, relentless, driven and committed springs to mind with how the BBC seem to be operating on behalf of their obvious favourite party and favourite party leader i.e. the Labour party and Sarwar…

The proof being in how much and how often they, the BBC, are both protecting and defending Labour in Scotland and also Anas Sarwar……….

Confucius says…….In the name o the wee man surely tae Christ nae one is that perfect and withoot a blemish….(especially in the Labour party in Scotland).

Then one of the quotes via Confucius was adapted in reference to Sarwar …..it read as follows:

“This guy is no a bloody Diamond yea ken , he has too many flaws for ma liking and a bit too rough (shod)……..a bit like a Pebble ya ken ….that’s like a Pebble that’s better thrown back in the sea….as in ‘Get in the Sea’…..

(The real quote being “Better a diamond with a flaw than a pebble without”)………..not relevant for Sarwar that’s for sure.

However the BBC seems to be promoting that Sarwar is a really good guy and also very much future FM material…..

Reality and also mountains of logged evidence responds……….

    Naw he isnae !
