The Herald today has – Warning of rising pressure on GPs – by Andrew Buist, supposedly a ‘senior doctor‘ but really just a former shop steward. Here’s the opening text:

I don’t need to tell you what this supposed journalism is – a Scottish Labour election pamphlet, no more.

How are things for GPs really in Scotland?

  1. To see the lack of political impartiality with certain Trade Unions you only need to look at the UK parliament website and also the Scottish parliament website , then check out the declared registered interests for some specific Labour MP’s and Labour MSP’s – then you will see the many political donations from certain Unions to certain Labour politicians.

So the public , unless they are totally gullible and/or completely oblivious to reality, should really be fully aware as to why and how we often see and hear specific representatives from some certain Unions attacking the SNP as the Scottish government.

Basically some of those TU’s are nowt more than an additional political opponent to the SNP, so as yet another political opponent they will then do their best to try and gain a political advantage for Labour over the SNP. The mounting evidence on this is out there, which proves this to be the case .

The BMA in Scotland is supposed to not be affiliated to any political party , including the Labour party, but their chair in Scotland , Dr Iain Kennedy, never seems to have anything positive to contribute to the NHS debate when in comes to our Scottish NHS and also upon our Scottish government.

Hence Dr Kennedy’s (way too) many invites onto BBC Scotland’s various TV and Radio programmes. Indeed he could be defined as one of their top #SNPBAD contributors that they have on speed dial.

Not forgetting of course the age old habit where , in some other Trade Unions, members in the UK pay membership fees that often include a “political levy” or fund, a portion of which may go to the Labour Party.

So then no working man should be oblivious to this fact and then that should surely help them, as members of a Union, to see why certain Unions , via their representatives, often speak up against the SNP in Scotland- though Members can opt out of that political levy at any time, and this choice must be respected by the union.

Who outwith the SNP ever speaks up for them as a party and as a Scottish government , compared to the arsenal of support on the side of other political parties, that include the media and also different organisations like certain Trade Unions , who all support the UK State remaining as it is (that is, it still having Scotland within it).

It’s a UK State stitch up, they even utilise members of the English Royal family (though recently and in the future that may not be seen as a plus given all of the scandals connected to them as a family).

So large pinch of salt to what certain Union officials have to say within Scotland about Scotland, as many a time their public statements and opinions are far too tainted by partisan politics, that often then undeservedly favour the Labour party way way way too much. (while of course also disadvantaging the SNP as a party and as our Scottish government).

    1. Also funding of these trade unions being a factor in which party allegiances they possess? Unions used to be viewed by the media with disdain, now they are lauded as the bastion of truth and integrity, when it comes to Scotland’s political arena and their utter disdain for the SNP, the only party protecting workers and the public.
