Still fighting hard for Scottish Labour, the Record has another of it’s utterly dishonest and immoral front pages today, with in the opening lines:

‘Killers and rapists are among thousands of fugitives on cops’ wanted list.’

These are presumably suspects rather than criminals, as yet. Murder makes up only 0.015% and sexual violence makes up only 5% of all crime in Scotland so we’re not, as they hope you might think, talking about thousands of either.

Here is the truth about murder in Scotland:

BBC ‘Bloody’ Scotland all violence and death to hide the secret that Scotland has lowest murder rate ever and even lower than Denmark!

As BBC Scotland pounce on one ‘alleged’ stabbing what they don’t want you to know – murder by knife and possession of knives have plummeted but only in Scotland

Here is the truth about sex crimes:

Rape!!! Glasgow Herald works only to scare women with irresponsible, uninformative reporting – Reported rape and attempted rape is a staggering twice as common in England & Wales than it is in Scotland

Rape and other sexual convictions – Scotland leads with 29% and 108% increases in one year despite far fewer incidents

5 times as many rape cases solved and 3 times as many violence cases solved in Scotland than in England & Wales

Domestic abuse shockingly far more common in England & Wales than in Scotland
