Since the crowdfunder started only 9 days ago, nearly 15 thousand distinct readers at Talking-up Scotland but fewer than 1 in a 100 felt it was worth a contribution?

Sobering feedback that? I know, TuS gets lots of kindly and encouraging words but only 1 in 100 rate it worth even £1.

14 937 discrete visitors in February 2026 but only 139 make a contribution to the crowd funder, 0.9%, less than 1 in a 100?

I wouldn’t be human if I didn’t wonder, what I’m doing here.

7 days a weeks, 340 days, 1 700 hours, a year, 5-7 posts a day to earn, at 74 with all my qualies, less than £1 an hour. don’t tell my wife!

  1. I think you do a great job although nowadays I can’t always agree with your take on the present incumbents of the SNP. I’m glad to support you if only in small dribs and drabs however and hope even my small contribution helps.

  2. Pension day tomorrow so I will make another contribution.
We need you more than ever to expose all the lies and misinformation. There is no way I could even contemplate undertaking such a task.

  3. It must be very disheartening to pour so much of yourself every day into this work and receive so little actual feedback from so many views.

    Sarwar demands Starmer resigns…….

That is after a prolonged delayed reaction on the Mandelson scandal…..

Also the same Sarwar somehow able to tolerate all of the past bad policies and bad decisions made formerly made by Labour HQ and also the betrayal of the WASPI women and too the betrayal of the workers at Grangemouth Oil Refinery, apparently Sarwar was ok with Starmer remaining as Labour HQ leader back then .

My God wouldn’t it be hilarious if Starmer did not resign .

BBC James Cook said Douglas Alexander (for now) is still supporting Starmer, what of all of the Labour MP’s elected in 2024 in Scotland ?

I mean who, within Labour HQ, would want to take over as a candidate for the Labour leadership just now, especially when they are currently mired in a big ongoing scandal and so they are very much seen to be politically toxic ?

Surely after May’s election would be the best time to “change” or have a “reset” and so then a “new direction” with a new leadership challenge Ha Ha………..

Is Sarwar trying to save face in blaming everything on Starmer , while he paints himself as being the political victim of Labour HQ………which was the opposite of how he saw Labour HQ before this latest Labour scandal emerged.

(Has Sarwar, the now born again ‘political moral warrior’, removed the Labour whip from Pan Duncan-Glancy yet) ?

Sarwar better watch, as it might be him out of a job sooner than May’s elections, especially now that he has come out and demanded (Ha Ha) that his leader at Labour HQ resigns……aka Sarwar trying to save his own political skin.

If he , Sarwar, was ousted then there will be yet another vacancy for yet another poison chalice , that is both the Labour leadership at the branch office as well as the leadership at the Labour HQ.

Voters in Scotland do not be conned (yet again) by he who is the biggest political con merchant in Scotland aka Anas Sarwar……who puts himself before his party and always before his (supposed) country (Scotland) as he only ever fights for another country which is also known as the UK State……………..and also as England.
