Just saw something about Hinkley Point C nuclear power station.
Started construction in 2017. Supposed to be finished this year but no completion date is 2031. Cost supposed to be £18 Billion but so far cost has risen to over £40 Billion.
The units proposed by Labour Gov but the costs and time to build will be on a par to the bigger nuclear power stations

Correct – The heavily promoted illusion of an SMR being offloaded by truck and fired up immediately under Boris the bullshitter hit reality when pictures of of “Linglon One” began to appear from China, this promo from 3 months back…
It took China 6 years to get to that stage, so you can double or triple it for the UK simply due to HMG’s insistence on interfering without the faintest idea what they’re doing.
No better than Hamilton’s finest nuclear physicist WC Shanks using his brushing acquaintance with teaching, and James Cook fondness for bespoke suits to distort reality.

I have just heard David Lammy say that he and his colleague’s will be there to get a Labour Government in Scotland so does that mean Sarwar will welcome them.

I particularly like hearing a Scottish voice – specially one talking sense! I don’t watch TV or listen to Radio Scotland much because they just annoy me. So I look out for YouTube videos e.g. Bruce Fummey’s Scotland History Tours or Scotonomics or Marlene and Fiona on IndependenceLive podcasts.
So a whole new career opportunity opens up! Some poetry recitals for Burns Night would have been welcome! BBC Radio Scotland did it’s best but nowhere up to the White Heather Club standard. Nice songs but no poems. No Holy Willie’s Prayer, no Twa Dugs, not even Address to the Lassies.
