In The Celtic Blog yesterday, the above image of Brian ‘Bad Vibrations’ Wilson, Celtic chairman (bottom left) and:
He has been in post since the transfer window opened, which makes it roughly twenty days.
In that time, he has made a public call for unity, which he has not followed through on, despite the Collective issuing an open invitation to dialogue. He has presided over what we all know has been a dreadful first two thirds of the transfer window. But right now I want to talk about something else.
Because he has gone back to doing what he does best, although I use that phrase in the loosest possible sense; he’s writing for a national newspaper attacking the Scottish Government.
and
That is why his presence on the Celtic board while he railed against the Scottish Government and Glasgow City Council was always dangerous. It damaged the prospect of constructive engagement with two bodies Celtic needs to engage with. It is exponentially more dangerous now that he is chairman.

Here’s another reason why Wilson is the wrong man for the job – In 2015:

ROMAN Catholic voters in Scotland abandoned their traditional support for the Labour party and switched to the SNP in large numbers in last week’s General Election, with almost half of Catholics voting for the party that took 56 of Scotland’s 59 seats.
https://www.thenational.scot/politics/14886604.poll-shows-huge-swing-to-snp-among-catholics/
The same poll also found 48% of Catholics intended to vote SNP, compared to 38% for Labour.
An 11 year-old poll, I know, but does anyone think Starmer/Sarwar’s Labour are more popular now?
Two examples of Wilson’s anti-SNP vitriol:

Wilson is a indeed a danger to Celtic FC. He and the Fedora Fox are among the main reasons this Celtic season ticket holder and lapsed Catholic don’t vote for labour anymore. I am disgusted this horrible, angry wee man has anything to do with our club never mind him being on the board.

Wilson was only relevant in his fanzine days- he then took the Labour+London route to personal wealth/influence/ importance- a 77 year old tosser, in a board of the same!
