‘Scottish’ Labour are not recognised by the Electoral Commission so can’t have a bank account – the billionaire bros six-figure gift will have to go into the UK Labour account but even if Anas gets some cash poll suggests it’ll just make things even worse for him

After hearing of the above two bros giving lots of dosh to the Labour party branch in Scotland, I wondered two things,

First, given that they don’t actually exist as a party on the Electoral Commission accounts, will the money have to go into the UK Labour account in England.

Second, if Anas does get some of the cash, with too few supporters and even less vision, will he just make more of those YouTube videos that are pissing everyone off. You just want to see that video of your favourite band or singer and you have to watch Anas, no Fast Forward, for 40 seconds.

Even Labour supporters desperate to see Benny Hill videos are going to be fuming.

BBC Scotland won’t be doing a wee vox pops survey in the streets around Ibrox, so my survey of 153 will have to do:

Only 30 times the validity of a BBC vox pops I know, but a clear response

Anas – DON’T DO IT! Stay out of sight, if you know what’s good for you.

  1. The other new Tory party, Reform UK, who also get the wealthy to back them, have a so called ‘Scottish’ leader Malcolm Offord (not elected but appointed by the company Director Nigel Farage) who , like Labour’s so called ‘Scottish’ leader , is not immune to having Car crash interviews with the media.

Offord was interviewed by SKY News Connor Gillies their ‘Scottish’ correspondent on the 15 January and Connor found that when his probing got too much for Offord, then one of Offord’s team shut down the interview. (this was on the day of Offord’s coronation as Reform UK’s supposed ‘Scottish’ leader).

    Connor Gillies posted this:

“Reform UK Scotland leader Malcolm Offord distances himself from a Reform Holyrood candidate who previously told Sky News that illegal migrants should be “put in camps and deported”.

Gillies also posted “Offord is answering questions before the @SkyNews is cut short”

Actually Offord came over as totally clueless and very evasive, indeed he looked a bit like a cat caught in headlights.

The Reform UK Holyrood candidate in question , Faten Hameen, who, as a asylum seeker, fled Iraq 30 years ago (she was formerly also a Labour candidate and then a Tory candidate ) who advocated that so called ‘illegal immigrants’ should be ‘Put into camps & be deported’.

Of course this is yet another recent car crash interview with Offord, where a member of Offord’s team decided to cut the interview short when the questions became too awkward for Offord. The other interview being with ITV’s so called ‘Scottish’ correspondent Peter Smith, which funnily enough was also when he , Smith, was asking questions about immigration.

This is of course a pattern with Reform UK as they do not like to be scrutinised or probed on their policies or opinions , as they seem to assume that is only for other actual political parties.

Also let’s be honest it is not Offord , as a branch office manager, who will dictate/decide what the (pretend) party position will be on any of their policies , but instead it will be HQ who dictates the (pretend) party policy for the whole UK . Hence why Offord seemed clueless when questioned by these news correspondents.

Quite shocking that Offord seemed so clueless upon immigration and his new party’s position on this , especially when it has obviously become the main focus for his new (pretend) party.

I think this proves that Offord is yet another mere figurehead in Scotland as a supposed party leader , one who Farage has appointed as a token and not actually as someone who , as a supposed leader, then gets to make distinct policies from those policies dictated by HQ…………just like the Tories, Lib Dems and of course Labour at Holyrood.

Offord is out of his depth as yet another Reform UK one trick pony who would drag Scotland down and whose only motivation , like others within reform UK, is to increase both his own wealth and the wealth of those rich financial donors who sponsor them as a pretend political party.

Reform UK are a wasted vote if , that is, you want things to both get better and also be better…………..as Reform UK will ensure things will only get far far worse , especially for Scotland.

    1. Also this proves that simply only repeating on a loop , at every media opportunity , that the SNP are bad, is not as a tactic, that original for anyone in opposition to the SNP.

If you want more people , other than just the usual fickle suspects, to vote for you , then you need to at least to be willing and also very much able to answer all questions from the media.

If your aide needs to always intervene when you are obviously floundering , that then that sends a message to the public that you are either lying, incompetent or a fraud whose only obvious motivation for entering politics is anything but one that wants to make things better for ordinary people.

Offord is not an asset for Reform UK he is a liability and with his track record it is clear that the working man and woman is neither his nor his new (or old) party’s priority.

I do hope sanity prevails for fair minded and intelligent people living within Scotland when it comes to voting on the ballot paper in May this year………that being the case Reform UK may not see the supposed surge in Scotland that some media here are seemingly trying to help them win.

Just look at some of the councils they won and now run in England where they promised people in those areas that if they, Reform UK, won that Council then they would not increase Council Tax.

Guess what they have done ?

Yep, they are increasing council tax.

Just like Trump , Starmer & others , all their pledges and promises that they made in their election campaigns and then, after they won, the opposite (indeed worse) happens.

We all know Reform UK will be no different , no better .

So if Reform UK do win the next UK GE then it is us the ordinary working people who will pay heavily with them gaining any power……..

Also with Reform UK having any seats in our Scottish parliament it will be a case of yet another UK party carping from the sidelines, with an additional branch office manager (Offord) blaming everything on the SNP while also accusing the SNP of “always blaming others” for everything. (same tactic used by other branch office managers at Holyrood).

Anyhoo……..what will be will be……let’s see if some voters within Scotland are still up for being conned by the ‘few’ , while also still willing to ignore the many obvious negative situations that has always existed for Scotland staying within the UK.

As in that which is , as obvious negative situations, are ones that are very much backed up by verifiable facts and lived reality, which also have been repeatedly staring them in the face as voters , but they still choose to be in denial , so they look away and pretend that this time it will be different if they choose to vote for (yet another party) Reform UK (the pretend party whose CEO is Nigel Farage).

However with Reform UK it will not be different it will be far far worse.

  2. I don’t recognise these oligarchs. Are they the cast from The Hunger Games? But it’s interesting that they don’t want independence for Scotland. That means independence is practically a civic duty.
