Unionist think tank tries to reduce Maths pass rate for next year

As Jack McConnel’s political ‘think tank’ in the Scotsman and Herald thoughtlessly encourages next year’s S4 to avoid even trying maths because only 4 in 10 pass when in truth it’s 7 in 10, how does England do we wonder:

  1. The media and the reactionary carpers and the teacher union reactionarieshave two responses:

If they think the ‘pass rate’ is too low, then the demand to know ‘what the hell is going on in our schools?’ They lament, “we used to have the finest education system in the world’. They should never have banned the belt.

If they think the pass rate is two high, then they claim it is a result of ‘dumbing down’, because the ‘woke’ decided ‘all must have prizes’. ‘What happened to hard work and rote learning?’.
