Each barrel of oil is worth around $60 or £452, so we have around £1 trillion in Scottish waters

I do hope this has been checked with Sir Ian Wood as he is the man who knows , isn’t he ?

Quite frankly I wish there were no oil or gas reserves in Scotland…greedy oligarchs don’t like giving up what they see as their own, no matter which country, naming no names, Venezuela and others.
If anything, re securing independence, should Scotland do a wee deal with the EngGov and allow them to keep half or less, of Scotland’s oil/gas reserves but leave our renewables well alone? Or is that a crazy idea.
