Anas Sarwar declared this year that the UK government were unable to help Grangemouth Refinery as it was a “private company” .
Now we hear that the “private company” that is Jaguar Land Rover is to be given “UK government assistance” as now it is being reported that:
The UK ” Government to guarantee £1.5bn JLR loan after cyber shutdown”………..”in a bid to support its suppliers as a cyber-attack continues to halt production at the car maker“……..
So Car Makers – England – as all of the big Ports are in England.
English jobs – English Ports – but “Business Secretary Peter Kyle said the loan, from a commercial bank, would protect jobs in the West Midlands, Merseyside and across the UK”
“Across the UK“…….but in the places that he , Peter Kyle, specified, as in named, none of them were in Scotland…..as in the same Scotland that Keir Starmer declared would be at the “heart of his Labour government”…….mind you the supposed GB Energy company now currently has more jobs within London than it has within it’s supposed HQ in Aberdeen……now that’s worth specifying and so applying specific city names to…..
I think we all know why Douglas Alexander was the perfect choice to replace Ian Murray….not because he is better or more competent….because being better or competent is not required for the position of SOS against Scotland …..nope….the lack of quality required for that UK job….. is to be an obedient servant to the party and only to the UK….which does beg the Question why then was Ian Murray sacked as surely he too was slavish as a British servant……….was is it because they knew their GE slogan of “Real Change” with Labour was now a lame duck in Scotland ….so what will they invent aka concoct , via Alexander, to try to con us Scots next year……..of course it will be #SNPBAD on steroids….in fact that is one Labour party slogan that has been a constant pre and post the 2014 Indy Referendum.
Apparently Labour are never at fault, are never to blame and so their logic concludes that it is always ‘others’ at fault, and “others” that need to be blamed and so we, as voters, are supposed to adapt to that skewed logic when we vote in Scotland in all and any elections……
Actually last year some voters here did do just that………in fact some within Scotland did vote for Labour , against what was surely for some, a case of them not using their best judgement…….and some chose to ignore the bad experiences that they had in the past with all of Labour’s lies………I mean some people in Scotland thought Labour were the better option to vote for in order to oust the Tories….now look at what is happening….Labour have replaced the Tory party in more ways than one……….as they, Labour, are now the new Tory party.
Douglas Alexander can just do one……….a political dinosaur who chose his moment to return to politics in the UK……….when he knew that the Labour were finally, after years in the political wilderness , now seen as having a real chance of ousting a flagging Tory party…..he is the epitome of a political opportunist….who previously himself as a former politician was no stranger to a scandal linked to him……….

But where oh where are the Scottish media to call out the excuses of Sarwar re Grangemouth against the rescue of JLR. Will it happen? Well I’m not going to hold my breath waiting. Sarwar of course will go into hiding for a week or so and our unionist media will not seek him out. I would hope that our First Minister will bring it up at Holyrood to roast the toad and show what a charlatan Sarwar is. In fact I will go as far to say that Sarwar is no different than Farage. A snake oil salesman.

I have just listened to Laura Maciver interviewing Sarwar for maybe 10 minutes waste of that time just his usual rant SNP Bad as for Maciver if that is the best they have says it all.

Able, or willing? I think it’s the willing bit, why would you want the country next door, where you control most of their essential and very lucrative resources, to appear to be financially very bouyant and resources very very rich, when you can destroy their industries and progressive industries etc, cough cough, until, they give in and accept the status quo.
The union is on life support, the Brit state will do everything to keep it alive, grateful, begging, and ultimately compliant. On your knees Scotland!

That’s funny…
Because last week the English Labour Education secretary Bridget Phillipson was in Edinburgh , were she was out ‘canvassing’ with Chris Murray , the Edinburgh East Labour MP….and she tweeted that same phrase………
Here is what she posted on ‘X’ on 21 September…..
“The SNP is a knackered government that doesn’t deserve a third decade in power. I’m ambitious for Scotland’s future. And as a campaigning Deputy Leader, I’ll be working day & night to back Scottish Labour in May — and see Anas Sarwar as First Minister”
(She, Phillipson, will need to work far far more than “day and night” to ensure that Anas Sarwar is the next FM in Scotland….in what will surely be, as an endeavour, ‘Mission impossible’…).
So is this “SNP knackered” reference now going to be the official Labour party line for next year’s Scottish elections ?
Of course they, Labour, can talk…..or rather they cannot talk .
Labour HQ have only been in power , as the UK government , since last July and they are now considered by much of the public as being a government who are well and truly “knackered” in the sense that they are “severely damaged or/and broken” (as a definition of the word ‘knackered’).
So also as part of Anas Sarwar’s speech at the Labour HQ conference he said that the SNP were “out of touch”…..
Well what about Labour…. are they ‘in touch’ with ordinary people within the UK ?
Perhaps ask the Pensioners , or WASPI women, or people on Disability benefits, or people in the UK who support Palestine and see a Labour UK government failing to take any action to oppose Israel’s genocide in Gaza, or the workers at Grangemouth Oil refinery whom Sarwar himself promised that they, as workers there, would see their jobs saved by the Labour HQ party but then his HQ party both betrayed and abandoned them, also women still subjected to the Tory and now Labour’s two child cap, or all of the ordinary people who Labour promised , in their GE campaign , that they , Labour, would ensure that all of the energy bills would be reduced if Labour won the UK GE last year, or all the people who did not and still do not support Brexit but Labour are determined to also retain that as yet another Tory policy, or us in Scotland who were promised that GB Energy would generate thousands of jobs in Scotland and where currently London has more jobs (31 jobs) via GB Energy than the supposed GB Energy HQ based in Aberdeen (only 13 jobs so far)………though TBF Labour HQ have been very much ‘in touch’ with those within the UK who want to retain their wealth (aka the “Few”) ……..as in the rich bankers, the large corporations, the Nom Doms who have the Chancellor’s “ear” and also her sympathy and then also the many other rich individuals (some of whom have even donated to Labour’s political election campaigns)………hence why…………there is………

Well perhaps he , Sarwar, should have a word with his Labour colleague in Wales.
As the BBC Website also has an article on the Labour Welsh FM’s speech at teh Labour’s HQ conference where she said:
“Plaid and Reform ‘different poison, same bottle’ “……..
But in 2021 Welsh Labour & Plaid in Wales “signed a three-year co-operation agreement, where the two parties agreed to work together in 46 policy areas”…….so I take it that Plaid are now outperforming Labour in the polls in Wales……..I mean either that or Labour are willing to form an alliance with Plaid and so swallow the “poison” that their Welsh FM says exists with Plaid as a party …..
Mind you the Welsh Labour FM also said that with Plaid there was “fantasy politics” and that they, Plaid, “blame Westminster” and that they also promote “Divisive nationalism”….(basically she , the Welsh Labour FM, is saying the exact same lines that Anas Sarwar and his colleagues in Scotland have been saying about the SNP here).
Meanwhile Labour HQ as the UK government have adopted “Tory cruel politics” and they “blame the previous Tory UK government” (for their own bad decisions since coming to power last year in the UK) and they, Labour HQ, have generated a hell of a lot of the “divisive British Nationalism” themselves with their overuse of BritNat flags and Starmer’s shocking comment that “the UK risked being an Island of strangers” …….I mean how “divisive” was that ?
As Starmer , as the UK PM , has taken a very negative and hostile positionagainst Immigrants coming here to their UK …..as he, Starmer, tries to match the same non inclusive aka nasty rhetoric as Nigel Farage and Reform UK.
Meanwhile in Today’s Daily Record they note that “Labour heading for third behind Reform”……… in the polls in Scotland………..so I guess it’s really Anas Sarwar who is “out of touch” as it seems voters here disagree with his (lack of) perception……upon the SNP…
As guess who , as a party, were leading in that same poll , yep it is the SNP, so I think that the voters in Scotland do not concur with Sarwar in fact they seem to be thinking it is Labour who are now “knackered” and also “out of touch” as a party….. especially in Scotland …….at last , in Scotland, sanity is once again prevailing !
Hopefully it will indeed now come to pass (next year) that Labour in Scotland are back to being a spent force , as a party, within Scotland………as they really really did not deserve to have won 37 seats last year in Scotland in the UK GE ………….
Also since winning those 37 seats last year in the UK GE , I now suspect that many of those voters who voted for Labour in Scotland now very much regret that (bad) decision that they made……. based on how bad Labour HQ have been as a UK government , as they have under performed and under achieved all that they promised they would do if they won the GE……and Sarwar has defended Labour HQ far far too many times in respect to their many bad Labour HQ decisions .
(Also known as him, Sarwar, making too many ‘excuses’ for Labour HQ and also him often heard to be “blaming others” for Labour HQ’s bad decisions and also for Starmer’s obvious lack of judgement as the new Labour UK PM as well….so what then does that say about Sarwar’s obvious -lack of- judgement ? )……….
“Real Change” with Labour ?
Nope…..
Nor would we ever see any positive or progressive “New Direction” with an Anas Sarwar led Labour (so called) ‘Scottish’ government………
However what we would see, with Labour in Scotland being (supposdley) in charge here (God forbid) , is a duplicate version of Labour HQ, as in those who are now very much regarded , by the UK public, as being a failing , incompetent and also now an unwanted UK government…….
So it’s a “No Thanks” from me to Labour……….. and hopefully it is also the same with many many other voters here too in Scotland , and not just for next year but beyond then also…….who I hope that they , as voters in Scotland, also concur, that they too , do not want the Labour branch office anywhere near power within Scotland…………as we all know who would really be in charge….Labour HQ.
Currently polling is showing that Labour not really wanted …….pretty much anywhere within the UK …..
Hence why there is all of this desperate and divisive language that we are now all hearing that is coming from Anas Sarwar, the Welsh FM ,Douglas Alexander the SOS against Scotland and also coming from the Labour HQ via the Labour UK PM as well………..as desperate times calls for desperate measures….or so Labour thinks….as they, Labour, are now very desperate to project their own failures upon ‘others’ aka ‘playing the blame game’…..the public begs to differ…..so now it seems to be (via polling) that voters here in Scotland are ready to………..
